Why? Just spitballing here, but maybe it had something to do with the fact that from Oct. 4 to Oct. 18, deaths of vaccinated people jumped more than 4,000 and hospitalizations almost 14,000.

Again - in mid-October, the CDC reported more than 300 deaths and almost 1,000 new hospitalizations a day among vaccinated Americans.

Pandemic of the unvaccinated, anyone? ...

So the United States - which spends $4 trillion a year on health care, an unthinkable sum, more than $10,000 for each American - is stuck relying on foreign data for the most basic facts about Covid vaccinations.

And I mean the MOST basic. Like the number of vaccinated Americans who have died of Covid.

The CDC DOESN’T THINK YOU SHOULD HAVE THAT NUMBER. At least not anywhere that’s readily accessible.

So they had 3 short-term scenarios based on their "models" and none has come true. But they fucking know the average temperature on Earth 10 years from now, because models!

WRT to what Booger said

It's not the same. People with pets, if they are sane, love their pets and want them to have a happy life, and their training is to give them a job and to reward them not just for doing the job, but just for being awesome. Even if Fido fails - almost always you end up giving them the treat anyhow, for trying. They get the reward immediately if they do the trick, and they get it eventually when they don't understand and they put up with your bullshit trying to teach them the trick.

Since COVID-19 mainly affects the elderly, experts expected an increase in the percentage of deaths in older age groups. However, this increase is not seen from the CDC data. In fact, the percentages of deaths among all age groups remain relatively the same.

Figure out how you want to interpret "COVID-19 deaths" and keep that in mind when reading or hearing data like this.
