Although menopause can start early in some women, it more typically starts from 47 to 55 years old. It can make them really nuts and miserable. The craziness does not always go away after the menopause, a common reason for men to divorce later. It is not because they hate their wives, or even want to chase younger women, it is because they can't live with them being bat shit crazy any more. Men will often visit and even assist their former wives after menopause, but they can't live with them any more.

However, some women can have minimal psychologic symptoms with menopause, it is an individual thing and the luck of the draw. Also, men can have a kind of hormonal change of life, too, although it is seldom acknowledged because it is regarded as un-masculine and stigmatizing.

My wife got a bit more dingbat after menopause, but we have stayed friends and it was pretty benign compared to what I have heard from others. My wife is dead set against any vax and will flee with me rather than get it. Neither one of is 'anti-vax' although lack of trust of Globalist Medicine means I will not be taking any more until the world tyranny situation is cleared up beyond a shadow of a doubt.

ACS Risk Biomarkers Significantly Increase After mRNA COVID-19 Vaccine

The risk of developing acute coronary syndrome (ACS) significantly increased in patients after receiving mRNA COVID-19 vaccines, according to a report presented at the American Heart Association (AHA) Scientific Sessions 2021, held from November 13 to 15, 2021.

The study included 566 men and women (1:1) aged 28-97 years, who were patients in a preventive cardiology practice. All patients received a new PULS Cardiac Test 2-10 weeks after their second COVID-19 vaccine. This test result was compared with a PULS score from 3-5 months prevaccination. The PULS Cardiac Test measures multiple protein biomarkers, including hepatocyte growth factor [HGF], soluble Fas, and IL-16, and uses the results to calculate a 5-year risk score for new ACS. The PULS score increases with above-normal elevation. All participants received this test every 3-6 months for 8 years.

From prevaccination to postvaccination, the levels of IL-16 increased from 35=/-20 to 82=/-75 above the norm. Soluble Fas showed an increase from 22±15 to 46=/-24 above the norm. HGF rose from 42±12 to 86±31 above the norm. As a result, the 5-year ACS PULS risk score increased from 11% to 25%. By the time the report was published, changes had persisted for 2.5 months or more after the second vaccine dose.

The study author concluded that “mRNA [vaccines] dramatically increase inflammation on the endothelium and T cell infiltration of cardiac muscle and may account for the observations of increased thrombosis, cardiomyopathy, and other vascular events following vaccination.”

Alcohol-associated hepatitis admission ‘dramatically’ increased in first year of COVID

There was an 81% increase in alcohol-associated hepatitis admissions within the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic and resulted in a significant increase in liver transplantation, according to a presentation.

“During the pandemic, we observed an uptick in [alcohol-associated hepatitis] admission among all patients and a significant increase in monthly admissions among young adults,” Reid Grinspoon, MD, of Harvard Medical School, said during the presentation at The Liver Meeting Digital Experience.

“Thirty-nine percent of the [alcohol-associated hepatitis] admissions in pandemic year 1, with clear reason for increased drinking, cite a pandemic-related factor.”

Grinspoon and colleagues used the Mass General Brigham research patient data registry to identify patients admitted with a diagnosis of alcohol-associated hepatitis from Jan. 1, 2010, to March 9, 2021. Investigators performed chart review and identified 3,038 charts, of which they reviewed 1,200 patients. They included 157 admissions with alcoholic-associated hepatitis listed as main issue in the discharge summary.

After Grinspoon and colleagues manually reviewed each identified medical record, they found 583 admissions with a ‘primary hospital problem of alcohol-associated hepatitis’ as stated in the discharge summaries. There were 162 admissions with patients aged 40 years or younger, 421 admissions with patients aged older than 40 years. Additionally, they performed a subgroup analysis in 397 admissions with patients with severe alcohol-associated hepatitis.

Grinspoon and colleagues recorded demographic information, length of stay and whether the patient was treated in the ICU, underwent liver transplantation or died. In addition, they determined MELD, MELD-serum sodium (MELD-Na) and Maddrey’s Discriminant Function (MDF) scores.

Investigators considered March 10, 2020, to March 9, 2021, as the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic and the 4 years prior were the control period. They compared admission characteristics between the two periods.

Investigators noted there were 49 admissions in the first year of the pandemic compared with an average of 27 admissions per year in the control period (P = .004). In the first year of the pandemic, 10.2% of alcohol-associated hepatitis admission culminated in liver transplantation under stringent criteria compared with an average of 1.4% per year in the control period (P = .009).

According to Grinspoon, no significant differences were noted in the first year of the pandemic group compared with the control group with regard to the percentage of patients with alcohol-associated hepatitis who were white (74.5% vs. 84.1%), Hispanic (18.2% vs. 17.8%), female (51% vs. 42.1%), treated in the ICU (36.7% vs. 27.6%) or died (10.2% vs. 12.6%).

Additionally, no significant differences were noted in the first year of the pandemic period vs. control period with regard to the average length of stay (12.7 days vs. 11.6 days), MELD (27.2 vs. 25.8), MELD-Na (29.1 vs. 26.7) or MDF (65.3 vs. 65.3) scores.

“More research is needed to quantify the effects of the pandemic on alcohol-associated liver disease, especially in young people,” Grinspoon concluded.

Stress level up, mood and physical activity down during COVID-19 lockdown

The COVID-19 pandemic may have reduced overall mood and physical activity among study participants and increased their levels of self-reported stress, a speaker reported.

According to results of the COVID-19 Health Evaluation and Cardiovascular Complications (CHECC) study presented at the American Heart Association Scientific Sessions, the changes in mood, stress and physical activity during the pandemic lockdown in Michigan may also vary by age and race.

“Michigan has been one of the hardest COVID-19 hit states, with over 1.3 million cases and approximately 24,000 deaths as of November, this month,” Nirav Shah, MD, associate professor in the department of anesthesiology at the University of Michigan, said during a presentation. “We know that heart disease, hypertension and diabetes can lead to more severe disease. Also, stress, social distancing and unemployment may disrupt non-COVID-19 treatment and healthy lifestyles. With that context, [CHECC] consisted of two components.”

This first component was a retrospective analysis derived from the MIPACT study that enrolled approximately 7,000 participants with wearable sensor data, including step count, activity data and ambulatory BP, combined with electronic health record and survey data (45% men; 63% white; 48% untreated hypertensive; 27% normal BMI).

The second component, for which results will be presented at a later date, was a prospective analysis that enrolled student athletes and included an arm of participants with a recent COVID-19 diagnosis.

For the retrospective analysis, researchers included individuals enrolled at the University of Michigan and followed them from January 2020 to June 2021. Participants wore a watch-style wearable sensor for at least 12 hours per day and performed weekly ambulatory BP measurements as well as responded to regular mood and stress score surveys. Mood and stress were measured on a scale of 1 to 10.

Twenty-three percent of the cohort was younger than 40 years; 43% was aged 40 to 60 years; and 35% was older than 60 years.

According to the presentation, the researchers observed large dips in mood scores and large spikes in stress scores in the weeks immediately following the pandemic lockdown in Michigan. These fluctuations were consistent, regardless of age group.

Following the initial fluctuations, Shah reported persistent declines in mood score and increases in stress score within all age groups.

After stratification by race, the changes in mood and stress were less dramatic, according to the presentation; however, Black participants’ self-reported mood scores were, on average, higher compared with other races.

The researchers observed no noticeable differences in stress score among different races.

As measured with a wearable monitor, average heart rate was significantly elevated among participants in the younger than 40 years age group compared with those aged at least 40 years.

Although the researchers observed no significant difference in heart rate by race, researchers reported that average heart rate increased across the study duration.

According to the presentation, the largest drop in daily step count was observed among participants younger than 40 years; however, the daily average “bounced back,” Shah said, attributing the drop and subsequent increase in average daily steps to seasonal factors. A similar pattern was observed in all age groups.

When change in step count following the pandemic lockdown was stratified by race, researchers reported the largest drop in average steps among Black participants. This decrease in average daily steps persisted for the full study duration.

“From an interpretation perspective, it looks like the pandemic has potentially influenced mood, stress and activity across several categories of participants in the MIPACT study. We saw a significant dip in step count among the under-40 population,” Shah said during the presentation. “We have some additional analysis in progress.”

While the CDC and FDA give the impression that many of these side effects are ‘minor’ in nature – fever, headache, chills, fatigue, etc. – there is mounting cause for concern that there are prevalent Covid vaccine Adverse Events (AEs) that are far more serious in nature.

Richard Baris, also known as the People’s Pundit, is currently one of the best pollsters in the country. Baris was concerned by the noticeable disparity between the AEs reported in Pfizer’s documents and the VAERS website, and took it upon himself to start polling Americans directly about their vaccine experiences. He went above and beyond the critical threshold needed for a representative sample of national significance by polling 2,414 registered voters across the country.
