I don't know why I torture myself with this, but I turn on KCBS 740 am radio when in the car on my way to town in the mornings for a workout. I don't even live in the Bay Area anymore. But maybe this lets me hear the "other side" so I know what I am up against. They have this ridiculous segment called "ask an expert" where they hire some shills to extoll the vaccines mainly. Find myself yelling profanities at the radio. But today I heard THE STUPIDEST question ever. Listener sends in this:. Doctor, how long after my recovery from Covid should I wait before getting the vaccine? The expert doctor, some epidemiologist or whatever, not missing a beat, says "well we used to suggest 90 days, but really as soon as you feel better go ahead and book your appointment.". Really???WTF??? It got worse. Next listener writes in and asks...when should I get my booster? I had my 2 shots, got Covid and am now recovering. Really?? You got both shots, they didn't work, you got sick and now you want more of the same thing that failed?? I turned off the radio before almost crashing the car

If you REALLY want to yell at radio, try AM 810. 740 would seem fair and balanced after that. =))

Now I’m not sure if the vaxxed or unvaxxed folks are uninformed.

This doctor will lose some clients after this with his response. How could anyone trust a doctor who has no spine and stand up for what is right? The doctor should have said “you have natural immunity now. You should be good for at least a year. No shot is needed or recommended.”

Yep at least a year and up to 20+ years, sure reinfection can happen within those 20 years but it will be very mild.

I think it is important to listen to the enemy. For one to know what they're doing. And secondly to vaccinate yourself from the idiocy.

KCBS still has a weather update once every ten minutes at :08, :18, :28, etc. I listen for that if I am trying to figure out breaks in the rain for my cardio walk and my dog walk.

We haven't had a TV at all for at least 10 years now. Aaaaah. Nice!

I do listen to the radio in the car now and then, but always making a point to skip past the propaganda the moment it starts.

Tried XM Radio again on a free trial, it was better.

But they still managed to work in that pro-vax commentary.

There is just less commentary

still makes me want to retch.

Definitely better than NPR Though

Once a week when I fill my car up at the Alon Quick-Stop, I've never been in there that there isn't a black person at the three game machines or I have to wait behind two or three to be given $20 worth of scratch-offs out of what I know is surplus money for their weekly finances.
