Anyone wants to risk a bet on the eventual number of sick people? Dead people?

Some relatively optimistic predictions:

The health authorities will be discredited. Patients will be less trusting of doctors and doctors less trusting of government agencies like the CDC, NIAID and WHO.

Social media and the left mainstream media will be seen as key enablers of the fraud, losing relevance as public trust falls to new lows.

The left’s great leap forward into authoritarianism will run into a brick wall of reality. A backlash is coming.

Knowing the political right, they will somehow snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, but that’s a discussion for another day. The few politicians who stood up to the Covid mob (e.g., Senator Rand Paul from Kentucky and Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida) may very well exert outsized influence on the 2024 U.S. presidential election.

The stimulus narrative will begin to unwind. While the economic and social damage from a global monomaniacal war on a virus is incalculable, the gap between expectations (as measured by financial asset prices) and economic fundamentals has never been wider. That gap will close in what was once known as a “bear market.” The interventionists created a giant mess. It will take time, but the free market will eventually clean it up.

After the vaccine bubble bursts, a few scapegoats will take the lion’s share of the blame; flawed ideas and the madness of crowds, far less. Some may question longheld beliefs and the liberty movement will grow as a result.

I'd like that 10 times if I could

Wait, I can. But that would be cheating.

If you did that, it could be a resume enhancement for a job at Diebold.

Do you make these Booger? Or just grab them from other sites? Either way this is probably one of the best I've seen about our current situation. "Follow the science"

The "science" has done some extremely fucked up shit over human history. I'm not sure why people believe this time is different.

People always think that we've overcome the errors of the past. It's the conceit of the present.

I remember when I was a kid, thinking that science couldn't get much more advanced. We could talk to anybody on the planet, we could play movies at home, we had computers, we could listen to music from 40 years ago - on a telephone, with a VCR tape machine, on an 8 bit machine, using a cassette tape..

I think the big change that is coming is people are beginning to realize that the "experts" aren't. A significant number of people are calling BS on this pandemic and the "vaccines" - I don't think that would have happened in 1980.

Those things are connected.

The internet arose, a technology we didn't have then.

And so now people can share truth about the vaxx directly with each other, giving us all a small way around the corporate media.

Which is why there are many bills about censoring the internet now.

Really? All I see is threats of such bills, threats which the Dems keep bringing up to remind Google/Facebook/Twitter that Google/Facebook/Twitter better keep censoring the Right and keep carrying water for the Dem/RINOs.

True, I don't know that any were actually created or voted on.

I think the naive and panicked elderly support the vaxx for exactly this reason.

They watch TV, sadly, and they believe Blackrock's propaganda.

They believe ALL the propaganda, and they've been holding society back for at least 20 years with this mentality.

George W. Bush should have been drawn and quartered once it was clear his administration lied us into a war, but NOOOOOOOooo, it was just a "mistake", the "news" wouldn't lie to the country, said everybody 50+ 20 years ago.

Because of that, we spent 20 years in war and it cost us something like 20 trillion dollars to do so, our military was subsequently exhausted, infrastructure was ignored for the entire time, our news became complete propaganda, and our public education system turned to complete shit because of NEGLECT.

Here's such a bill which was actually created:

The purpose of the bill is to create a new way to censor online speech.
