That article shows up in my FB feed.
There are 3.2k comments to it already.
Despite that, I decide add another comment anyway that simply says, 'Let's Go Brandon'.

FB declares it violates FB community 'standards'.

NPR bashing FB for hour saying it spreads radical right wing stuff and FB needs to be reigned in. This doesn't sound logical since FB is left wing and tool of CIA. Only thing I can think of is FB user population is older and gen x and boomers that use it are seen as a threat.

NPR has veered so far to the left that it may actually make some sense. They are calling Chapelle now a white supremacist. NPR has gone off the cliff full leftoid retard long ago.

It is quite clear that FB censors the Right and carries the propaganda of the left. The Left accusing FB of Right wing bias is just the Left's way of trying to convince the public that Facebook is not wholly owned and controlled by the Left.

In April 2020, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg offered National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) Director Anthony Fauci help in “facilitating” decisions regarding lockdown measures in the US, shows private emails exchanged between the two. ...

This is not the only time Zuckerberg and Fauci have communicated privately, although the latter denied that he interacted with the Facebook chief even after other emails surfaced to show them discuss a coronavirus “information” hub being set up on the giant social media site as a means to steer the messaging in the desired direction.

The content of these emails that became public was also redacted, with some interpretations of the missing text suggesting it was Zuckerberg offering to censor particular topics around coronavirus. ...

Regardless, observers now say that the emails show how powerful private entities, said to have potential to sway public opinion, and the government in the US can effectively collude behind the scenes.

It’s also noteworthy that Zuckerberg – whose foundation, the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, reportedly spent millions to prop up Joe Biden’s campaign – is often the target of criticism by liberal media and Democrats as “not doing enough.”

Rapid Response:
Open letter from The BMJ to Mark Zuckerberg
Dear Mark Zuckerberg,

We are Fiona Godlee and Kamran Abbasi, editors of The BMJ, one of the world’s oldest and most influential general medical journals. We are writing to raise serious concerns about the “fact checking” being undertaken by third party providers on behalf of Facebook/Meta.

In September, a former employee of Ventavia, a contract research company helping carry out the main Pfizer covid-19 vaccine trial, began providing The BMJ with dozens of internal company documents, photos, audio recordings, and emails. These materials revealed a host of poor clinical trial research practices occurring at Ventavia that could impact data integrity and patient safety. We also discovered that, despite receiving a direct complaint about these problems over a year ago, the FDA did not inspect Ventavia’s trial sites.

The BMJ commissioned an investigative reporter to write up the story for our journal. The article was published on 2 November, following legal review, external peer review and subject to The BMJ’s usual high level editorial oversight and review.[1]

But from November 10, readers began reporting a variety of problems when trying to share our article. Some reported being unable to share it. Many others reported having their posts flagged with a warning about “Missing context ... Independent fact-checkers say this information could mislead people.” Those trying to post the article were informed by Facebook that people who repeatedly share “false information” might have their posts moved lower in Facebook’s News Feed. Group administrators where the article was shared received messages from Facebook informing them that such posts were “partly false.”

Readers were directed to a “fact check” performed by a Facebook contractor named Lead Stories.[2]

We find the “fact check” performed by Lead Stories to be inaccurate, incompetent and irresponsible.

-- It fails to provide any assertions of fact that The BMJ article got wrong
-- It has a nonsensical title: “Fact Check: The British Medical Journal Did NOT Reveal Disqualifying And Ignored Reports Of Flaws In Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine Trials”
-- The first paragraph inaccurately labels The BMJ a “news blog”
-- It contains a screenshot of our article with a stamp over it stating “Flaws Reviewed,” despite the Lead Stories article not identifying anything false or untrue in The BMJ article
-- It published the story on its website under a URL that contains the phrase “hoax-alert”

We have contacted Lead Stories, but they refuse to change anything about their article or actions that have led to Facebook flagging our article.

We have also contacted Facebook directly, requesting immediate removal of the “fact checking” label and any link to the Lead Stories article, thereby allowing our readers to freely share the article on your platform.

There is also a wider concern that we wish to raise. We are aware that The BMJ is not the only high quality information provider to have been affected by the incompetence of Meta’s fact checking regime. To give one other example, we would highlight the treatment by Instagram (also owned by Meta) of Cochrane, the international provider of high quality systematic reviews of the medical evidence.[3] Rather than investing a proportion of Meta’s substantial profits to help ensure the accuracy of medical information shared through social media, you have apparently delegated responsibility to people incompetent in carrying out this crucial task. Fact checking has been a staple of good journalism for decades. What has happened in this instance should be of concern to anyone who values and relies on sources such as The BMJ.

We hope you will act swiftly: specifically to correct the error relating to The BMJ’s article and to review the processes that led to the error; and generally to reconsider your investment in and approach to fact checking overall.

Best wishes,

Fiona Godlee, editor in chief
Kamran Abbasi, incoming editor in chief
The BMJ

Pro-Palestine is one of those great insta-filter issues for me. 90%+ Islamist or Socialist (either Leftist or Racial). The rest are a handful of Replacement Theorists of the Paleocon bent, very few others.

The USS Liberty pales in comparison to friendly fire incidents of the Gulf War (1991), two sets of indemnities were paid within months, but some are obsessed with it 55 years on as some kind of magic clue to some kind of "Puzzle". Then there's exaggerating $3-4B in aid (really a gift card only good at General Dynamics & Lockheed) as if it would either make the US Budget Deficit Go Away (laughable if one looks at other foreign aid spending, the scores of billions on US contributions to NATO spending annually, mostly with countries with very high anti-US tariffs/regs and underpaying by about half their ~2% GDP on Defense, or looking at the US Budget overall) or that troublesome Israel only survives because of it (laughable if one looks at the ~$100B annual Israeli Government - not GDP - Budget).

Or other nonsense theories, like Tel Aviv being some finance center when I it's not even in the top 20 and a pale shadow compared to Shanghai, London, New York, or Frankfurt. Or Vancouver, Canada or Melbourne, Australia, hardly world famous top tier financial centers.

or That the IDF is somehow more brutal; when it takes excessive pains to avoid civilian casualties, while just a decade ago, Hamas was sending bombers with suicide vests into pizzerias.

Or that Bibi was anything but a typical CYA politician; claimed that he was the first to congratulate Biden when he did so after Merkle, Macron, Johnson, and several Others, including I think the PM of Japan and ROK.

Dislike of Israel is widespread in Academia, including in the USA. And definitely inside the State Department, since the Obama's 1st term. Pro-Israel bias disappeared in the 90s when CNN, NYT, etc. began outsourcing "Journalism" esp. Photojournalism to the cheaper Arabs rather than relatively expensive Israelis.

British Medical Journal criticizes Facebook over “inaccurate, incompetent and irresponsible” “fact-check” used to censor
The article covered "data integrity issues in Pfizer’s vaccine trial" and is being censored on Facebook. ...

The editor of The British Medical Journal (BMJ), one of the world’s oldest and most respected medical journals, has written a letter to Meta’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg to bring to his attention an “incorrect” fact-check on one of its reports.

The report was titled: “Covid-19: Researcher blows the whistle on data integrity issues in Pfizer’s vaccine trial.”

A former employee at Ventavia, a research company that helped with the trials of the Pfizer Covid vaccine, provided The BMJ with dozens of internal documents, photos, email, and recordings, that revealed “a host of poor clinical trial research practices occurring at Ventavia that could impact data integrity and patient safety,” according to the letter.

“We also discovered that, despite receiving a direct complaint about these problems over a year ago, the FDA did not inspect Ventavia’s trial sites,” the letter, written by BMJ editor Fiona Godlee, further claims.

Related: Facebook says it’s not liable for false fact checks used to censor, because they’re “protected opinion”

The BMJ hired an investigative reporter to write the story, which was published on November 2. The article had been peer reviewed, legally reviewed, and subjected to The BMJ’s high editorial standards.

However, starting November 10, Facebook users started reporting problems when trying to share the article. Some said they were unable to share, others said their posts were flagged with a warning saying, “Missing context… Independent fact-checkers say this information could mislead people.” Others were warned about the consequences of repeatedly sharing “false information.”

The BMJ’s article was fact-checked by Lead Stories, a Facebook contractor. The BMJ described the fact-check performed by Lead Stories as “inaccurate, incompetent and irresponsible.”

"You know, British Medical Journal, just take the fucking bribes and shut the fuck up and get on the Globalist Covid Agenda. Otherwise, meet our little friends who will disgrace you, take away your licenses, your financial credits or plant you in the ground after putting their abundant portfolio of illegal sex practices on your computers.!"

The BMJ seems to have some balls and integrity, unlike The Lancet, which published the fraudulent anti-HCQ study, and published Daszak's letter "proving" the origin in the Wuhan Lab was a "conspiracy theory".

You want to know why I dislike the US' relationship with Israel?

It's because our "news" media lies in favor of it consistently and constantly and all Zionism is, is the KKK for Jews. That's the country. I have heard for 40 years "if we only the Palestinians would lay down their arms there would be peace, but if we lay down ours, Israel will be destroyed" - it's just such fucking bullshit. When is the last time the WEST BANK did anything to Israel? Yet the settlements expand in the West Bank, settlers often murder the Palestinians there. I'm just so fucking sick of them lying. So goddamned tired of their stupid propaganda.

I don't care WHAT the fuck Israel does, but I don't want my nation being part of it. They are a nuclear armed nation that won't sign the NNPT, won't allow IAEA inspection, constantly bitch and moan about Iran, constantly is bombing Syria, and Lebanon, and is always ALWAYS egging the United States to go to some stupid fucking war that doesn't goddamned matter to the United States, but favors Israel in some way.

They are totally full of shit about having a 2 state solution, they have NO interest in peace because they know they have the upper hand, and the conflict with the Palestinians is mostly kept up just to keep Likud in power. I mean, as long as there's that "external threat", those fascist twats that are direct descendants from Lehi will be able to maintain control - or that's their thinking anyhow. They build settlements JUST TO PISS OFF the Palestinians, and I'm certain SOMEBODY is making bank with all that new land they don't pay for, but resell.

They are like a 30 year old child still living at home that makes a 6 figure salary, doesn't pay rent, and bitches and moans about how badly his parents treat him. Our nation's involvement with them only hurts our nation and in particular the people of this nation. Does Bibi want to go to war with Iran? Go right ahead but leave us the fuck out of it.

And I'm not "pro-Palestinian" - I'm pro "fuck our involvement with this bullshit. It's been 70 fucking years".

NASCAR rejects 'Let's Go Brandon' sponsorship, Brandonbilt Motorsports says

NASCAR has rejected Xfinity Series driver Brandon Brown's sponsorship deal with cryptocurrency meme coin LGBcoin -- a reference to the controversial "Let's Go Brandon" phrase, his team acknowledged to CNN on Wednesday.
NASCAR's refusal to allow the LGBcoin.io sponsorship to be on Brown's number 68 car was first reported by FOX Sports and The Athletic. Brown announced the sponsorship deal last Thursday and posted a video of the car on social media.

Which peace plan did the Levantine Arab "Palestinians" offer?

Not one.

A counter offer?

Not one.

River to the Sea has a meaning, it means "no Israel; total Arab Supremacy, 100% of the Levant" The Levantine Arabs will never come to the table until the Arabs turn off the aid. They have a terrible reputation for meddling in internal politics in the MENA from Lebanon to the Gulf, when Yassir ordered Palestinians in Kuwait to backstab their hosts, which they happily did, warmly welcoming Saddams invading Army. It's only a matter of time.

Arabs have the same attitude towards the Kurds; the Holy Lion Assad tried to Arabize northern Syria for 30 years by seizing lands from Kurds and resettling Arabs there; Saddam Hussein did the same to the Assyrians and Kurds in Northern Iraq.

Arabs will be fine with 75% of the Levant, with a free Israel and free Kurdistan. It's time to decolonize the Middle East, and it will happen eventually.

What part of "Leave us the fuck alone in our former land" does Israel need planned out for them here? I see Israel as punching down, acting like the Germans in Schindler's List, while crying that THEY are the victims.

I resent that the US gives so much aid and takes so much pushing around from Israel. We should tell them to go pound, but that they can take and keep all the US congressmen and senators with their tongues up Israeli ass.

FFS - the Palestinian government is just a MAFIA, like all governments are. So long as the conflict continues, they benefit. They benefit through smuggling, through "aid", through misery.

Israel won't agree to anything regardless. Israel, IF they wanted a two state solution, and they don't obviously they would just unilaterally declare their borders and whatever shit is left over would be "Palestine". They could have done this any day of the week for the last 40 years.

The stupid conflict is not designed to be settled. There's no attempt to settle it, the stupid asshole citizens of both nations are too fucking stupid to realize their governments have no desire to settle the conflict.

If the west would simply leave and stop meddling there, there will be a solution. It doesn't advantage the United States to be involved, it just costs us money and blood.

The US has been bombing the Middle East on and off for over 40 years. What good has this been for you, me, or this country? Well, it's put the country into 30 trillion dollars of debt to a bank that doesn't have 30 trillion dollars of assets. They'll own this entire nation in short order.

How long does this have to go on before IDIOTS realize it's pointless to continue?

But NOOOOO, CAMERA has to infiltrate Wikipedia, MEMRI has to "mis" translate Arabic, our news media has to continue pushing bullshit and blatant propaganda for 4 fucking decades to keep us involved with this stupid conflict and dopes thing that doing more of the same fucking thing that does NOTHING for this nation is somehow a good idea.
