Australian authorities have just put Shaun Ferguson in solitary confinement for two weeks without arrest or trial.
His crime: potential exposure to the Omicron (aka cold) variant.
Added bonus: Shaun is fully vaccinated AND apparently tested negative.
But his prison cell, I mean hotel room, is really nice. Aside from the lack of open windows or sunlight. Because who needs those?

Long(ish) read, but straight stupid. Just let the guy in and hit a ball that is going to generate millions in revenue for government. Hell Djokovic alone would easily $100k plus for his lodging, coach(s), friends and family. So he doesn't have a vaccine that doesn't work and his exemption was approved the article said (quick skim so I might be wrong).
Covid is already there. It's not going to decide to just jump in the Ocean and go away. Australia is just delaying the inevitable. Might as well get it over with. All the Aussies I know would despise this.
I don't know, critical thinking and logic have seem to gone away. I think many of our world leaders have somehow had mind control done on them. I know it's tricky to ship stuff to Australia, but order a container ship of just treatment options, distribute them, open up and be ready to treat the tsunami of covid that will come at some point. Set up clinics to detect if you're asymptomatic, early state disease or late stage and treat.
It's summer there. Get people outside moving and building up their immune system. Promote health and not hiding. This is common knowledge as a non-doctor or scientist. Promote staying home if sick. They're never going to create some level of herd immunity that is likely as or more effective than a vaccine.

I saw some thing on Telegram where a German health minister stated that even if the vaccines do harm and kill people, she didn't care, the vaccine policies and mandates were moving forward. It's just a somewhat kinder way of killing the populace without lining them up over open ditches, shooting them, and shoving them into the common grave with their foot.

There's no economic incentive not to suck. Your job is to suck up and do whatever you are told to do. Your boss can be ENTIRELY incompetent, but as long as they are sucking the shit out of the next asshole above them, they will never be released from their position.
It's a soul killing job, and the people at the top, have no souls at all.
Government is terrible. Just be obedient, and if you fuck up, nobody cares and the government will shield you. Why do you think we have a bunch of fucking crazy teachers in LGBTQ+ophile nonsense in elementary school?
