I agree. The punishment seemed appropriate to me, especially because he is not likely to be charged with anything. Better that he get his lumps immediately.

A Texas man who shot a woman in the neck was killed Saturday when the bullet also hit him, police said. Dallas police responding to a report of a shooting at an apartment building found "a large amount of blood and a blood trail in front of an apartment," they said in a statement. No one was in the apartment when officers arrived at around 11:40 a.m. local time (12:40 p.m. ET), the Dallas Police Department said. Police then got a call from a nearby hospital about a man and a woman found outside with gunshot wounds, police said. The pair were in a car outside the hospital. Investigators believe the man, Byron Redmon, 26, shot the woman in the neck, but the "bullet then exited and hit Redmon in the leg." Redmon died at the hospital. The condition of the woman, who has not been identified, is unknown.

An ATF agent showed up at a citizen's home to question him about a shotgun he was not "permitted" to have.

The citizen called 911 and told them someone was at his door trying to take his guns.

Police end up ARRESTING the ATF agent.

Both criminals were apparently white, or perhaps light skinned Asian based on what I could see of their hands.

I don't know if these assholes REALLY deserved this, but this is BS that they tried to pull this crap. I don't have much sympathy for them other than he must feel pretty stupid about getting killed over like $100 worth of crap he didn't need.

Odd that the first shot did not incapacitate the robber. In fact, it looks like the robber took several hits. The gun may have been something like a .22 short revolver.

Harris County Sherriff Ed Gonzalez reports the 17-year-old male "retrieved a shotgun and discharged it several times, striking two of the suspects," both of whom were pronounced dead inside the home. The third suspect fled the scene in a car.

Tacoma, WA. Gang banger is shooting it out with the cops, when this guy rolls up listening to George Strait, drinking his coffee. An elderly homeowner in Tulsa, Oklahoma, fatally shot an intruder who climbed through a back window and into the house near East 14th Street and South Florence Place around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Tulsa police said.

What are the details?
A KJRH-TV broadcast indicated the burglar pried open the window. According to the station's story, a confrontation ensued between the elderly homeowner and the burglar, after which the homeowner shot the intruder.

The suspect then jumped out of the window and ran around to the front of the house, police said. KTUL-TV reported he collapsed on the home's front yard. Police added that the suspect was pronounced dead when first responders arrived.
