Democrats setting new, lower standards.

This is bad news.

How does Xoe/Dems do this and not expect retaliation?

He must think this will finish Trump off, or he thinks whatever he has planned to happen soon will do it. If Xoe did this, and somehow Trump still got elected, he would retaliate, and dems know it. You don't strike someone and then let them go so they can plot and retaliate.

Although, maybe the plan is to raid and then
- if they find something they can use to finish Trump, then finish him / prosecute him.
- otherwise, dont prosecute and just downplay, pretending they were just trying to get their document back, hoping he then wont retaliate too hard.

https://spectatorworld.com/topic/the-mar-a-lago-raid-is-pure-political-intimidation/

According to a report from the New York Times, agents supposedly went into Trump’s home in Florida to check whether he had retained or hidden any classified documents from his time at the White House. Thus far, the only evidence provided for this is that he “delayed returning” about 15 boxes of material to the National Archives (the boxes were returned in February). Trump claimed in a statement that he had been working with the government to return all of the required documents. ...

The decision to send agents into Trump’s home over a quibble about document retention reeks of political intimidation. The FBI has refused to comment, suggesting that at least immediately they didn’t find anything actionable. The LA Times reported back in February that prosecutors would have to prove that Trump intentionally mishandled or hid materials, which is a tall ask. When Bill Clinton was found to have inappropriately kept gifts and furniture from the White House, he returned the items and the situation was treated as a misunderstanding. The Clintons’ home was not raided by the FBI. Why was Trump’s? Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that violating the Presidential Records Act can bar someone from running for political office again. Hmm. ...

The New York attorney general and the Manhattan district attorney have separately been trying to get at the former president through his business ventures, alleging tax fraud and fraudulent company valuations. This raid feels just like another one of the left’s harebrained schemes to politically sink their arch-nemesis. ...

Naturally, Trump’s critics will celebrate the FBI’s raid. They will be blissfully unconcerned that the gratuitous and unjust investigation of political opponents is just the kind of authoritarianism they warned would be ushered in by the Trump administration. Remember, the Biden administration is going to restore our norms and institutions!

WEST PALM BEACH, FL — High-level Chinese asset and sex trafficker Hunter Biden breathed a sigh of relief this evening as an FBI raid team passed by his West Palm Beach vacation home to raid Donald Trump's residence in Mar-a-Lago.

"Whew! Thought they had me for a minute there," Biden sighed, according to sources before going back to smoking crack with a hooker on a pile of cash freshly delivered by Chinese agents. "Glad to know the FBI is still working for my Dad!"

The FBI arrived at Mar-a-Lago shortly after, but things got awkward after the FBI raid team ran into the FBI evidence planting team due to a scheduling mistake.

Eric Trump said the safe they cracked open was empty. As I first heard the news, and I'll tell you in a minute how I heard about it. My first thought was Bannon, Stone, and Manafort all getting the FBI door break-in and their shit tossed and ransacked. So I let out a sigh of relief knowing that Trump realizing he was next, probably has the cleanest residence in the world.. I knew that safe would be empty, or have some booby prizes in it. If I were Trump I would have made a deal with a hair product company, and stocked that Safe up to the brim with it. You know the FBI would have leaked Trump had a safe full of his hair product. They would have talked about it non stop for days. By Friday, that hair product would have been sold out in the stores, and stock would be going through the roof.

If you're Trump, you don't have all of the shit you would expect to find in Trump's safe. And if you're SMART and don't have TDS, you would reckon he should have things in it, given to him by Kings and Queens before he even ran for President, and the uncashed check from 20th Century Fox, for playing in Home Alone. But he took it all out when the raids started and it is empty now.

Funny my old work buddy, a Jamacian that voted for Biden but he knew was the worst person in the world but he's a Democrat. He called me and said."Hey Ted I thought you said they wouldn't raid Donald Trump's house?(Something I said when he was President after they raided Roger Stone.)

He knew before Breitbart or The Gateway Pundit because he was watching it on CNN, just like all of the other raids. CNN rode shotgun along with the FBI to do their Despot filming.

https://nypost.com/2022/08/09/judge-who-approved-fbi-raid-on-mar-a-lago-once-linked-to-jeffrey-epstein/

The Florida federal magistrate judge who signed off on a search warrant authorizing the FBI raid of former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort left the local US Attorney’s office more than a decade ago to rep employees of convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein who had received immunity in the long-running sex-trafficking investigation of the financier.

Sources tell The Post that Judge Bruce Reinhart approved the warrant that enabled federal agents to converge on the palatial South Florida estate on Monday in what Trump called an “unannounced raid on my home.”

Reinhart was elevated to magistrate judge in March 2018 after 10 years in private practice. That November, the Miami Herald reported that he had represented several of Epstein’s employees — including, by Reinhart’s own admission to the outlet, Epstein’s pilots; his scheduler, Sarah Kellen; and Nadia Marcinkova, who Epstein once reportedly described as his “Yugoslavian sex slave.”

Kellen and Marcinkova were among Epstein’s lieutenants who were granted immunity as part of a controversial 2007 deal with federal prosecutors that allowed the pervert to plead guilty to state charges rather than federal crimes. Epstein wound up serving just 13 months in county jail and was granted work release.

1) Most governmental institutions are already not trusted by the American people. This raid contributes to mistrust of the FBI.

2) It leads to mistrust of DoJ/the courts. Remember, 2 of the 4 court-approved warrants again Carter Page were found to be invalid.

3) Trump has been subject to numerous probes, all of which turned out empty. If the FBI didn’t find the goods yesterday, add this to the list. Here’s why the
FBI raid - absent a finding that puts former President Trump behind bars - is so damaging:

4) Did the DoJ really need to go to this length to enforce the Presidential Paperwork Act? Government lawyers and Trump lawyers couldn’t figure this out? DoJ really had to resort to a raid?

5) FBI didn’t raid Hillary’s home 2search for her server. They didn’t raid the DNC to get the server the Russians hacked. They didn’t raid Clinton NSC Advisor Sandy Berger’s home to see if he had additional smuggled classified materiel. Why is Trump held to a different standard?

6) The Biden WH knows that many Americans won’t believe Biden didn’t know about this or approve it - even if he didn’t know. I suspect this is a headache the Biden WH didn’t want.

7) A precedent has been set. Former Presidents, while not above the law, can now have their homes raided by successor administrations. There’s no telling where that will lead.

8) Bottom line: FBI better have found smoking gun evidence of crime. If not, this raid should not have been approved & will backfire into a boost for Trump and a further erosion of trust in vital governmental organizations. My Q to Director Wray and AG Garland: Was it worth it?

If Donald Trump did take something, he should have hidden it under Hunter’s pile of hookers and blow.

The Herald’s series examined a number of people whose actions were questioned by lawyers representing Epstein’s victims. Besides Acosta, two other prosecutors in the Southern District of Florida were named in court documents connected to a civil lawsuit filed by two Epstein victims in 2008. One of them was Palm Beach federal magistrate Reinhart. In a 2011 sworn affidavit submitted in the civil case, Reinhart denied he did anything unethical or improper. He asserted, under the penalty of perjury, that he was not part of the team involved in Epstein’s investigation and therefore was not privy to any confidential information about the case. But two years later, Reinhart’s former supervisors in the U.S. Attorney’s Office filed a court paper contradicting him, saying that “while Bruce E. Reinhart was an assistant U.S. attorney, he learned confidential, non-public information about the Epstein matter.’’

Constitutional scholar Alan Dershowitz is calling it “misconduct.” According to him, in an appearance on Newsmax, such a raid should be the method of last resort, unless they can’t get the documents through subpoenas or any other lawful methods.

“The raid is supposed to be a last resort,” he said. “But this administration has used the weaponization of the justice system against its political enemies. It has arrested people, denied them bail, put them in handcuffs – used all kinds of techniques that are not usually applied to American citizens. I just hope this raid has the justification. If it doesn’t have the justification, the materials seized in it will be suppressed.”
