Could be. But Burisma is problematic because of supposedly squashed investigation into the owner's wrongdoings, not because IT WAS A GAS EXPLORATION COMPANY DRILLING IN UKRAINE, is it? So if we drop the histerionic BECAUSE THEY WERE SELLING UKRAINIAN GRAIN TO CHINA, what's left? Was the owner of that company under investigation too? Was an AG fired on Biden's request too? I don't think any of this was alleged wrt grain exporting company. So why invoke it in the first place?

It's unquestionably illegal if it's actually not doing any work at all, and is taking a no show job so that the 3rd party hiring him is purchasing influence from his politically connected father. If there's ANY influence from the politically connected father, it's a bribe, even if Joe Biden doesn't financially benefit from it.

Not OK if it's a bribe. This can be ascertained by having the property's assessment independently verified. If a $500,000 property is sold for $50,000,000 it's obvious it's a bribe.

Why would the United States even make it legal for US property to be purchased by a foreign country which is an "enemy"? Nobody asks that. Foreigners should not be able to buy US property at all.

Would depend on the compensation for the employee. If, for example, that instead the son ends up on the BOD or in some group that is enforcing censorship, this is a conflict of interests. If they are engaging in censorship, this is a clear violation of the 1st amendment.
