NO to all to avoid additional taxes except 30(token tax on super rich), 31(no tobacco sale to kids)

I don't know CA's propositions, but it is important to pay attention and vote. Turnout is lower during midterms and only the hardcore turn out. Usually the hardcore want something you don't. It's like that in IL where our Republic party is basically 90's Democrats anyway and I could live with it, but our R candidate for governor will sweep 90% of the counties west and south for the entire state. Cook county/Chicago wins the state. It sucks.

You CA guys have multiple major metro areas and a lot of large suburbs. The votes that decide statewide policy here are non-working blacks, hispanics and woke white housewives. Not people that actually make the state function. Sad that our state is 90% rural and small towns and a bunch of city folk determine the direction of our state.

I wish you CA peeps luck, as it's a tough battle if you're a normal reasonable person in your state that wants 50 genders and your camping chair will give you cancer... Hopefully there's nothing stupid on the ballot that will fuck you.

Which reminds me I need to read up what shit IL Dems are throwing at the wall for the midterms. I unfortunately have to vote D for my Fed House Rep. I'm on a board and met with her for an hour and we are getting money. But we likely won't get it if she's not elected. Complicated $2.2M. Pork barrel for sure sliding it into some bill. It's hard once you get sucked into the game though. It legit would give our town a huge boost. Half our downtown is vacant and it would help attract new business for the board I'm on.

Rant over. With that said remember to check out county and city/town level elections. Those are the most likely to effect you day to day. Local referendums being the biggie. Wish you guys luck, but I fear your once great state is or already is fucked.

The only prop I am considering voting yes is 27, online gambling

Reading through various sources, I’m concerned that there is something a miss with this prop however that’s being buried in their gift wrap.

Although on the surface, I believe in freedom for companies to start gambling sites and consenting adults of certain age to engage in it, there’s some fuzziness around the following:

- CA has existing agreement in place with Native American tribes when it comes to gambling in CA. If Prop27 passes, online gambling companies will still have to have agreements in place with Native American tribes before implementing anything. I don’t fully understand the details or why

- if prop27 passes, 90% of the online gambling revenue will go out of state. Seems like piss poor negotiation on the part of CA

- Native American tribes are heavily against prop27. That alone makes me think that I should consider voting yes on prop27. I’m not sure how I feel about them owning all of CA gambling revenue.

I'm voting against all of them. They all seem sponsored by people with a buck to make, except perhaps the restriction on flavored tobacco, but even there, I don't like regulation and I don't think it's going to do much good if any.
