Anyone remember when santa clara ave was "the cruise" back in the 90s? I think it was tue evening or something like that, but everyone would hop in their rides and drive up and down santa clara ave, or hang out in the area. Was kinda like a car show. But the gangbangers would shoot people sometimes, and lots of people would get shitty / do dohnuts in their rides, so the city wanted to kill the event. Eventually cops started writing down license plates of anyone who drove up and down santa clara more than twice I think, and ticketing them.

Meanwhile, in Alameda County, the Nov. 15 ballot dump update put the Soros DA ahead of her competitor, the chief deputy DA. A visit to Big Five in Alameda may be in my future. Sigh...
