Incidentally, the infamous "Ballot Box 13" was what put Johnson over the top in the 1941 race for U. S. Senate.
LBJ was in the White House having drinks one evening with a news reporter. Apparently, he had a few too many, and he told the reporter to follow him into a room where
he pulled out "Ballot Box 13" out of a White House closet. Johnson laughed at the reporter's stunned reaction. The reporter later said that the inference was that LBJ was
absolutely admitting to the stolen election that put him in the U. S. Senate. I can't recall the reporter's name off the top of my head ....
I thought you were going to say that LBJ pulled out his schlong. I read that he (more than once) had guys in his office pull out their johnsons to see how each measured up.
