Skyrocketing thefts have led to monthslong backorders for Prius parts
The first time someone stole the catalytic converter from artist Naomi Hummel’s 2007 Prius was in Seattle in 2020. A mechanic installed a replacement the next day.
Earlier this year, thieves sawed off the replacement while her car was parked in the Fruitvale BART Station parking garage near her Oakland home. Hummel put an insurance payout toward a 2015 Prius — but within months, thieves crawled underneath and snagged her new car’s catalytic converter, too. Now, two months later, Hummel is still waiting for a replacement, as astronomical theft rates drive a nationwide shortage of the part she needs.

San Francisco Neighborhood Turns Into a 'Living Hell' After City Cedes Entire Street to Homeless
By Laurel Duggan
December 23, 2022
... San Francisco has more than 7,700 homeless residents and pours $160 million annually into permanent housing programs for them.
False. That money is poured into salaries for far-left Democrats who support the current machine, nothing else.
When everything is based on lies, sky is the limit on corrupt practices. We reap what they sow. This is consistent with people I know who went to the Fountainhead in Sacto and pretty much found out dispensations of program funds depend on whose palms you are greasing.:
It took nearly 4 years and more than $500,000 but San Francisco has finally selected its next public trash can!

That's got to be a joke.

Just messin' with you Rich.
SF is afflicted with extreme liberalism and not leftism.

With wokeness and diversity comes incompetence.
The transit station built for billions of dollars in SF developed a structural crack.
The giant and expensive condo tower in SF is leaning to one side.
They're not able to handle this rain either, even though the rain was clearly much much heavier when I first moved to California, during El Nino. Anyone who says this is more is just outright lying. I was here. It poured like a mofo for weeks on end. San Francisquito Creek near me was also much much higher back then than any time during this. Like 20 feet higher.
