This is the first Xmas here since the start of the farce and had I known of the attitudes of my wife's family I would have stayed home. They are brainwashed and after decades of global warming they still feel it is an "existential threat". I know better than to debate them as they discount any evidence, even from the CDC, as "Fox propaganda".

My mother in law is 92 and very "progressive". She caught Covid after her third vaxx and, say it with me, "It would have been worse if I weren't vaccinated".

My sister came down with the flu yesterday and spent the better part of the day in the emergency room, negative Covid.

They sent her home.

Love Maine, but it is full of old aging white shitlibs (incl. some of our family and friends). Once you go deeper into the country/forests, you see plenty of dissent from the white collars. You can likey say it's almost split evenly 50/50, but the voting is controlled by the coastal shitlibs and rinos, the dissenters often don't vote or aren't organized enough to prevent the harvesting/cheat.
