What are their names, the ones who switched their votes?

Still, I want to know who changed his or her vote.

There was a brief moment where corruption as usual was stalled, but someone ruined it. Who?

at least five of the GOP holdouts - including Gaetz, voted 'present' on the 15th ballot, giving McCarthy just enough votes to stumble over the finish line

Ah, Gaetz himself betrayed America.

Ah, lots of them flipped:

Frank Thorp V
@frankthorp

On the 15th vote for Speaker:
BIGGS votes PRESENT
BOEBERT votes PRESENT
CRANE votes PRESENT
GAETZ votes PRESENT
GOOD votes PRESENT
ROSENDALE votes PRESENT

"Present" being the coward's vote, a way to say "well, I didn't vote for him".

Gaetz almost got caned for suggesting that McCarthhy backers, his colleagues, were pigs feasting at the McCarthy fundraising machine's trough.

Gaetz is just darn lucky the Feds dropped the sex trafficking charges against him for sex with underage girls. He owes Trump ,big time on that.

Oh yeah because Trump and Gaetz are way more powerful than Harvey Weinstein, MeToo could never get to them... Right!?

If there were any there THERE, Glorida Albright would have Matt Gaetz balls in a sling by now. And Nancy Pelosi would have had Trump thrown in jail for obstruction of justice.

Nice fantasy about Matt Gaetz, every time he wins, the same bullshit comes up. All lies and bullshit. Where's his accusers? Don't tell me Matt Raped Washington Post and MSNBC?

https://babylonbee.com/news/after-15-grueling-house-speaker-votes-americas-long-national-nightmare-can-finally-begin

WASHINGTON, D.C. — After a week of grueling votes for Speaker of the House — 15 in total — Kevin McCarthy was finally handed the people's gavel and took his rightful place as Speaker. He lifted it up to the raucous applause of both Democrats and Republicans, signaling that the week of Congressional inactivity was over and the long national nightmare of taxing, spending, and corruption could finally begin.

"Finally, we will get down to the people's business of stealing all their money for our pet projects, making backroom deals, and holding meaningless investigations where we yell and point angrily at people to get some sweet sound bytes for our reelections," said McCarthy to the assembled warmongers, rapists, and half-dead geriatrics in the room. "Our long congressional nightmare is over, and the long national nightmare is finally here! Huzzah!"

Those in the crowd who were still sober enough to stand then stood and cheered.

Experts predict that business as usual will resume first thing Monday, as politicians give portentous speeches to empty rooms, have important meetings with weapons manufacturers, and attend coke orgies. "Americans are overwhelmingly pleased to be finally achieving a state of normalcy in Washington again," said one pollster.

At publishing time, Congress had already authorized another $100 billion to Ukraine.

More hopium rant: Claims SCOTUS will hear Brunson case, which could eviscerate Congress for failing to investigate foreign interference with 2020 election when called from the floor. I don't know about that, Monday is the day to announce. It that happens, SCOTUS will definitely have a bunch of congress critters in a state of high alarm. Since we live in an era of cowards, blackmail, deep corruption and lies, I bet it doesn't happen. George Eaton is usually reliable and reasonably unbiased. A finding on Brunson would obviate the chronically alleged 'Military takeover' solution.:

"There was no official word on if the Brunson case was accepted or not. However, there there was speculation that it was accepted and this was reflected in correspondence by an attorney that was familiar with the case.
Here is what is known, quote:

There is an email floating around now that SCOTUS is going to hear the Brunson case.

I'm much more hopeful than you all on this.

We got some serious concessions. The Backbenchers held the Speaker's Candidate feet to the fire. Nobody else with enough clout (Jordan, etc) stepped up to challenge McCarthy, but we wrestled some concessions and more of a return to pre-2009 House normalcy

Don't you ever get tired of this shit?

You're going to go to your grave still believing there's any fucking plan. There's no fucking plan.

All my adult life, 30 years, is empty fucking promises to have SOME accountability. It's never going to happen.

100% shit has to fail before it can get better. Problem is it still has to get a lot worse.

For Ogles, the basis of all the negotiations was to establish the rules of the game in Congress that had been altered over the years beyond recognition. As he pointed out, the rules of a game almost always determine the winner.

He shared with me a list of some of what has been roughly negotiated to date. The devil, as always, is in the details.

As has been reported, it will only take a single congressperson, acting in what is known as a Jeffersonian Motion, to move to remove the Speaker if he or she goes back on their word or policy agenda.

A “Church” style committee will be convened to look into the weaponization of the FBI and other government organizations (presumably the CIA, the subject of the original Church Committee) against the American people.

Term limits will be put up for a vote.

Bills presented to Congress will be single subject, not omnibus with all the attendant earmarks, and there will be a 72-hour minimum period to read them.

The Texas Border Plan will be put before Congress. From The Hill: “The four-pronged plan aims to ‘Complete Physical Border Infrastructure,’ ‘Fix Border Enforcement Policies,’ ‘Enforce our Laws in the Interior’ and ‘Target Cartels & Criminal Organizations.'”

COVID mandates will be ended as will all funding for them, including so-called “emergency funding.”

Budget bills would stop the endless increases in the debt ceiling and hold the Senate accountable for the same.

I don't and won't believe any of it until I see it happen.

We have been taken for a ride over and over and over again by the Uniparty.

Agreed. Unless I see it in writing, and it's been publicly acknowledged, I think it's just bullshit from "Tyler Durden". I think Zerohedge makes up a lot of bullshit news. If you can't verify it, it's probably not true.
