Apple is notorious for including un-usable code in releases to older phones, it's why they stop working if you don't stop updating. Their releases are usually up on their server as separate packages for a short time before they're no longer available. I don't know that they'll push wallpaper changes specific to nigger month other times of the year. You can probably just wait for next release.

yeah im 16.2 i have had that experience in the oast where if i update it suddenly gets super slow. making new once look nicer, fast responsive. fucking annoying.

A co-worker told me they bundle all their code together, regardless of which HW it gets installed on. So the new iOS is always designed for the latest phone, and if you are anything older, there's tons of code you're putting on your phone that's optimized for a different chipset.

What you lug around in your breast pocket is the equivalent of a mainframe computer from 1990 - actually better. Eventually there's going to be a company that just makes a standard phone, and won't bother wasting non recoverable engineering cost in "improving" it. Is a new phone today really better than one you bought a decade ago? It's got a faster chip, a faster GPU, it has higher resolution - do you care about any of that?

Eventually a company, probably Chinese, will just make a phone that is "good enough", and you simply won't care about anything else - it will work for you, and it will cost $100.

OR you can continue to buy Apple, and that will cost $1,000 and will have no discernible advantage. It's frustrating, you have no idea where we are. My phone is vastly more powerful and capable than the top of line desktop machine I had just 20 years ago.

I bet they were chagrin to find out more black people than white people rejected the update.
