It looks like the poor guy didn’t survive, 21yr old kid trying to stop a theft.

The perps won't be charged as that $18/hour 21 year old kid was trying to interfere with their livelihood. They'll plead, "self defense" and get off.

Perps should have death by firing squad.

Decades ago Black associates of mine in Oakland were scared to drive over the hill. Concord in particular kind of terrified them.
Once that trepidation is gone Pleasantonians will find out what it means to be 15 minutes from East Oakland.

As far as I remember, they stayed out of Alameda and Castro Valley too.

Ah yes, Leafy Suburban Tri-Valley, where affluent folks can buy their way away from problems of the urban core.

Never mind about hellacious commutes over Sunol Grade or through Castro Valley.

For many though buying that lifestyle requires leaving Latchkey Children behind while the parents commute to the cubicle warrens of Silicon Valley and the bay. Like Ilene Mischeloff's parents (*).

( {*} someone corrected me on this assertion I made before that Ilene's mom worked in a civil service job just a few minutes away from home in the Tri Valley. Yes, this is true, she did. But that gig came later. Like the dad, the mom worked in Silicon Valley when their latchkey child didn't return home).

I gather it was an imported innominate dindu, since I can't find a news story that mentions or shows the perp. Has anybody penetrated the sacred cow news veil of silence yet? I was just in that store last week.

Like I said, since wonderful air drops of section 8 types, the local blogs have become crime reports on a regular basis.

The killers were Black, was the victim White?

So one example of a bad thing happening to a "latchkey kid" with parents working in Tech and living in Tri-Valley and it happened what, 30 years ago? Seems like solid endorcement for that kind of model of living as opposed to something more "urban".

Same with that HD shooting: would it be such ibig news because if it happened regularly in the area? Nope, it's big news because it doesn't happen with any kind of regularity.

I wonder if there are any crap shack hovels in Hillsborough we could afford? Maybe it will stay safe there for a while.

The linked news article from the beginning of this thread seems to have been updated, since it displays clearly what you suspect. Also, the shooter and driver fled the scene but where tracked by police helicopter as they drove back to .... yes, you guessed it: Oakland.

No way! Who would've guessed something like that!

Her misfortune had nothing to do with latches, keys or high-tech. Basically got hit by a meteorite.

Yes, finally saw it. Surprised they didn't exonerate the shooters as 'victims'. Like I said, the coastal elites won't wake up until the moist, bleeding bodies start landing on their front lawns.

Sounds like you don't know much about that incident. It's OK, it was a long time ago.

It may be easy for parents and kids in those Leafy Suburban communities to let their guard down in their Pleasantville Kind Of Bubble. But this can be dangerous as they don't grow up with street smarts.

I think the meteorite is a poor analogy. Meteorites don't stalk their victims.

What's there to know? A school girl disappeared on the way home from school never to be found about 20 years ago. Nothing of the kind happened ever since. OMG, THAT AREA IS SO DANGEROUS AND PEOPLE LIVING THERE ARE LIVING WITH A FALSE SENSE OF SECURITY!!!!!

Just the past couple of years, a 25 year old living in a pretty expensive hood across the arroyo with his parents got in a gaming feud with a 18 year old. Said 25 year old found out where the 18 year old lived in Texas, drove there, blew up his propane tank to make him come out and killed him then drove back home,

Another guy apparently committed suicide across the arroyo, they found his body, never indicated foul play. Several years ago, a guy in the hills was beaten into a coma because his court was a gathering place for some Oakland ghetto whomper and local kids, probably buying drugs. He confronted them one day because he was tired of them hanging out by his house and got stomped by the innominate.

Also a few years ago, a spoiled adult child wanted money from his parents for his gambling and drug habits. They lived in the ritzies around Castlewood They cut him off because their investment schemes weren't doing well. The son murdered them then fled to Southern California.

Then, of course, there was just a few months ago the guy in the condo complex a quarter of a mile away who got drunk and sprayed his abode with automatic gun fire pointed out toward our neighborhood. Nobody was hurt, some bullets did damage in our hood, but it was strange going on walks seeing the upstairs condo unit riddled with outgoing bullets. People there often used to have loud parties.

Lots of stuff happens cumulatively besides just the MIselhof stuff. It gets short publicity then poof, everybody forgets. We have had a couple of suicides in my hood in tri valley. One was just down from us, but we never found out until years later because of our going back and forth to Santa Cruz.

Automatic gun fire? He has a 1920's Tommy Gun or a military M-16?

The perpetrators, sent to Home Depot by Schlomo Rothstein of the Local Branch of the Khazarian Zionist Mafia :

Huh? They never specified the rifle so I suppose it could be semi automatic or whatever. I don't know much about guns, they just said he started spraying bullets out the walls and windows. The place was quite a sight afterward.

The term "spraying" is propaganda, meant to imply that a semiauto like an AR-15 is a "machine gun" weapon of war. An actual machine gun is "fully auto" or "automatic" weapon and these guns are rare outside the military. Semi-auto only fires one bullet with each full pull of the trigger, just like a wild west revolver.
