But I saw for myself earlier today that I got hundreds of results on Bing images for a search for "tank man" and not one of those images were of the Tiananmen Square tank man.

I heard they were blaming "Human Error", which means they interfered particularly with the algo just for this particular search.

Maybe some CCP-controlled employee of MS did it.

The test of whether this was "human error" or a "CCP controlled employee" will come in a month or so after the commotion has settled. If the Tiananmen Square tank man disappears again, you know it was a deliberate policy by Microsoft.

Disney+ has censored an episode of The Simpsons in Hong Kong, where the streaming service recently launched. The episode was censored over references to the Tiananmen Square massacre.

Until June last year, Hong Kong operated separately from China. Hong Kongers enjoyed more freedoms than the mainland.

However, since Beijing enforced the national security law in Hong Kong, the censorship laws enforced in China started applying on the island.

On social media, Disney+ subscribers began reporting that an episode in Season 16 had been removed in Hong Kong.

We’ve managed to confirm that the Season 16 episode “Goo Goo Gai Pan” has been removed in Hong Kong.

The episode had two references to the Tiananmen Square massacre. It featured the famous Tank Man Photo and a plaque with the statement “Tien An Men Square: On this site, in 1989, nothing happened.” People often use the statement to mock the government’s attempts to erase the event from history.

In China references to the Tiananmen Square massacre are heavily censored and is called the “Tiananmen Square Incident.”

On June 4, 1989, in an effort to stop a protest by students about corruption in the government and democratic reforms, the Chinese government sent the army to Tiananmen Square with tanks. The exact death toll from the clash between protesters and the army has never been released, although it is speculated to be in the thousands.

i’ve seen the video too. that man climbs the tank, another man from the crowd comes gets him, and they run off. no actual massacre occurs.

No one knows what happened to that dude. Chinese surveillance wasn't what it is today, so hopefully he's still alive, but odds are against it.

There were a number of incidents like this where the people attempted to prevent soldiers from reaching the square. so obviously, all took place outside Tienanmen. Government only got their massacre by busing in soldiers from other provinces, as locals wouldn't kill their own.

Pretty easy to predict you wouldn't have an answer.

Every coup that the US does, fucks the US and the country. We're being fucked now with Ukraine and so is Ukraine.

I'd say that the CLOSEST we had to a success was Operation Ajax. That at least helped the US (for 20 years), it helped SOME parts of Iran, but the regime was so brutal and criminal to its enemies (including pro-democracy advocates), that it's now a theocracy that we've been at a low key of war with for 50 years now. I think that's our best success, but I don't know every country our dumbshit CIA overthrew.
