‘Woke’ Ben & Jerry’s Caught Profiting from Migrant Child Labor

“Woke” ice cream manufacturer Ben & Jerry’s has been caught using migrant child slave labor in its supply chains, according to a new report.

A recent New York Times exposé revealed that Ben & Jerry’s suppliers violated labor laws by utilizing migrant child labor to process milk.

The Times report interviewed more than 100 migrant child workers in 20 states.

It found that children are employed in the supply chain for several large companies, including Walmart, Target, Whole Foods, Ford, General Motors, and Ben & Jerry’s.

Ben & Jerry’s described itself as a “progressive” company and its cofounders, Jerry Greenfield and Ben Cohen, are vocal left-wing activists.

According to the exposé, the children described the jobs as “grinding them into exhaustion.”

A 2018 study found that Americans were subsidizing health care for migrants to the tune of $18.5 billion a year.

These must now be considered low-ball figures, given the soaring costs of health care and sharp increases in illegal immigration under the Biden administration.

I made the joke that "Honduran national" was code for illegal guest of the Biden Administration, and that they probably wouldn't be prosecuted for a felony because they aren't citizens.

According to Nebraska sheriff Mike Unger, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has passed on pressing charges against the Hondurans.

The American Red Cross has maps and guides for migrants to make the dangerous journeys to the U.S.-Mexico border, according to documents exclusively obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation.

The map, which is part of a packet stamped with the International Committee of the Red Cross and American Red Cross logos, shows a list of resources, including hotels, clinics and shelters where migrants can get support in Mexico and Central America. The maps include clearly defined lines leading to cities along the U.S. border.

With the Covid-rule Title 42 expiring, which allowed for the quick deportation of illegals, the number of illegal border crossings is expected to surge to 13,000 a day.

Meanwhile, the White House lies and says illegal immigration is down 90%.

You’re aware, no doubt of the situation on the Mexican border. Just days from now many tens of thousands of people from foreign lands waiting there will be ushered illegally across the Rio Grande by agents of the US State Department working with a whole bunch of NGOs and the United Nations to enable that rush to the entrance. The inflow will continue indefinitely. The operation has got the blessing of the “Joe Biden” regime, and everybody knows that, too. My guess is that’s what will set off a new civil war: when citizens of the border states eventually take up arms against this invasion, and our government tries to stop them from defending their own country.

New York City is full of illegal immigrants and its woke liberal citizens are starting to chafe a little. The New York Times ran a story yesterday headlined, “New York City Plans to House Migrant Families in Public School Gymnasium.” ...

Then on Thursday, New York City Mayor Eric Adams said he was asking a judge to reconsider the city’s “right to shelter” law. The Mayor explained, “We are now in court now, today, asking the judge to revisit this law to deal with this humanitarian crisis because, even when they decided to put in place that law, no one thought they would be dealing with a humanitarian crisis of this proportion.”

No. They thought they could spread some sweet tax money around to their buddies running fake charities supposedly helping immigrants. They never thought they’d ever actually have to DO anything. Now the City can be sued by migrants if it doesn’t immediately put them up someplace.

Nice job, geniuses.

In order to comply with its own right-to-shelter rules, which force the City to immediately find private rooms for illegal migrants, the City has been housing migrants in luxury hotels, City rec centers, and now public school gymnasiums, alarming parents.

“People are really concerned,” Brooklyn Councilman Ari Kagan said Friday night. “I got a lot of phone calls from concerned parents, from community leaders. Nobody, nobody expressed their support for this plan.”
