CNN somehow manages to make over a billion a year despite the fact nobody watches or pays attention to them. They don't depend on viewership for money, they get it somewhere else and I bet it's through some roundabout government money dump. These "news" stations do not depend on advertisements to pay for them. Like - who the fuck watches advertisements today? TiVo took that out 20 years ago and now it's built into your cable system. When you get cable, you get a DVR, and nearly everybody has cable for television.

You can pick up all the same shit over the air BTW, and digital television is WAY better than NTSC was, and you will be able to receive more channels than you think, if you want to watch that damned fucking box.
