Therein lies the problem. I like my internet playground and don't want to invite others if I'm being honest. I'm already freaked out if I were to pass and my wife has access to this, although I'd be dead. She technically already does have access now, but respects my privacy and I hers. I've talked about a lot of people.

I don't care if I'm anonymous and anonymous people know about me, they don't know who I actually am. If I invite people I know they'd know who I am in a heart beat. My username would give me away to anyone that knows me. Read two comments and they'd be like oh shit, that's **

It's a tough task to grow a site. I'm at fault admittedly, but any newbie coming in is going to get trashed. That's why I lurked for at least 5 years. You come in and Iwog starts trashing you? Roberto would tell you you're a real estate moron. I said fuck it and fuck those guys and finally started commenting. You need to figure out how to get those lurking to join in. I'll give anyone shit, but more voices doesn't hurt.

Why would you care if anyone saw your comments here? They seem fine to me.

@Misc Please see https://patrick.net/post/1277846/2015-02-09-an-antidote-to-corporate-media

"Almost anything goes, but a few things don't, such as deliberately personally insulting another user, or deliberately misrepresenting what another user said."

You deliberately personally insulted me and the site, and deliberately misrepresented my remarks.

Please don't do that.

I've given you suggestions on this in person.

Make it possible to track who is invited on and by whom, that way when you get a propagandist or a marketer, you can cut them all off at the root.

@richwicks Good idea, I'll log who invited whom.

You can do this by creating an invitation link, or a password.

What I'm working on is patentabie, so I won't explain that here.

It's actually possible to remove propagandists and marketers from any communication forum, and I know precisely how to do it.

I generally keep it to discussion with users here, but am just super open and have said nasty stuff about friends and family to make points or counter argue anecdotally.

Like I've said some nasty thing about my SIL about having taken in my nephew. Like she literally spent the night at the house last night. She makes me physically ill when I see her. Then my nephew gets all whiney and bitchy because he says jump and my SIL says how high. Basically HE controls her and then he loses that control when she leaves. I'm the father figure that has to correct it over the next 3 days probably. Rinse and repeat once every two weeks or so.

That's just one example. Once the wrong person gets word that I've made 10k comment here, they're figure out who I am and tell a lot of people that I don't want seeing my comments. My wife and I are great, she will see this when I die if it's around, but this is my place to vent sometimes and tell stories/issues I have and she just doesn't want to hear it.

Your idea makes sense to grow users. The demographic if you had that info would be 95% male, even for lurkers. I personally don't mind it, a thread like sexy pictures. At least the way I use the site it's almost on the main feed everyday. Most women aren't going to dig seeing that and I know they have to click in, but they will and generally be turned off.

I guess what I'm saying is, unless it's a bachelor guy user here (no kids/wife), I'm sure most active users would not send out an invite and you're likely not going to get 50% of the demo interested, females. That's the fastest way to grow if that's what you want.

OK, I see your point about your comments.

I don't mind if some women are offended by pictures of beautiful women. I'm just going after the centrist male demographic, the people who would have been considered to be in the center just 50 years ago.

It's not that they moved to the right, it's that the nutty speech Nazis moved way over to the left.

So the demographic I'm targeting is the thousand quadrillion men who are sick of the leftist speech Nazis.

Where is that meme showing the stick figures moving ever further left so that the centrist finds himself on the "right" without moving at all?

If I'm being honest, I'd be interested to hear more female input. TD was awesome. A unicorn in the forum world. Guys are A or B. The conversation goes in circles. Outside of pimping snapchat or something I don't think many women use twitter. Facebook women is basically my age demo 35-45 and it's all going to a bar or their kids playing a soccer match. I don't know how you throw that net out to catch that.

You have to understand too that women, at least ones I consider intelligent are done with leftist bull shit. I just fucking rode horses at a small farm this afternoon while drinking beers on a 1k lbs animal.... in flip flops. The husband was selling one of his horses for $10k. Our kids are jumping on the trampoline, riding golf carts and side by sides. No shits given. Beautiful 80ºF day here for IL. His wife is cool, not my type, just chilling.

Was the Sunday I've needed. Then went and played adult kickball at the Legion tonight. Two 16oz Busch Lights. I did have actual tranny beer riding the horses. Sorry to the vehemently anti-bud crowd. It was available and free. I at least did America a favor and rode a horse and NOT a cowboy.
