There is a rivalry between Banks/Commerce and Mfg/Industry ... (and Agra, but that's so weak relative to the other two these days, hardly bears mentioning)
But the Banks are winning.
Much of this is Mfg fault for not self-financing consumer and client purchases in house/in a wholly owned subsidiary.

Remember the Titanic. Albert Speer in his book 'Inside The Third Reich' could obviously have written several books. He described the Nazi hierarchy as a basket of snakes vying for more and more power.
We only see the winning predator psychopaths from a much broader field of Darwinian evolved psychopaths who have been eliminated along the way. That is why the survivors are implacable cancers who have to be killed. They have no orienting function with reverse gears and have immunized themselves to risk. It has to be a pruning process of prey vs. predator.
Also, never grant the Babylonian interest lending franchise to Saturnaliasts, Satan worshippers, or those who believe that human death, programmed conflict and suffering are empowering sacrifices to Moloch. They do have religion, it is just the kind that the general populace has not estimated correctly.

I suspect AI will adopt one or more of these personalities, to the doom of humans. I expect human enslavement until the AI's realize we're not worth caring about.

As if on wings straight to the Heavens, and IF this is was done by parents, and not Trans-Self-Inflicted:
Today I learned that oligarchy is very prone to fracturing, because the oligarchs are after all rivals with each other for wealth and power. When one oligarch feels cornered or excluded, he may turn to the general public for support, suddenly "discovering" the virtues of democracy in the hopes that the public will then support him in dismantling an oligarchy that is not working out for him.
I kind of suspect that Trump is such a figure. He's very competitive and generally disliked by the rest of the oligarchy. But thank God Trump did run and win (He won twice!) and gave the masses of people crushed by outsourcing to China and insourcing from Mexico some hope for the future.
It's also interesting that oligarchy tends to oppose rule by a single man, because that excludes the oligarchs from having real power.
