The LA Times piled on yesterday, in a backhanded attack on Hunter headlined, “Snctm Sex Club Founder Banned After Naming Hunter Biden as Former Member.”
Here’s how the LA Times described the club and its founder:
Damon Lawner, 52, created Snctm in 2013 after watching the Tom Cruise movie “Eyes Wide Shut,” which features scenes in which wealthy elites gather at a secretive orgy. With a carefully curated guest list and membership fees of up to $75,000 a year, it became the free-love private playground of Hollywood actors, rock stars, chief executives, city officials and run-of-the-mill millionaires.
The story goes on to describe how Lawner claimed to have kicked Hunter out for being “a scumbag,” which in turn got Lawner kicked out for revealing a member’s identity. Lawner calling Hunter a scumbag says a lot, if you think about it, since sex club owners aren’t exactly moral paragons of society or anything. It’s hard to figure which is the bigger scumbag.
Anyway, the point is, the LA Times story buried the lede.
Who cares about Joe Biden’s crack-addled son? Hunter is the FIRST person we’d guess would be a member of a pervert orgy club. The better question is, what about all the others? The “Hollywood actors, rock stars, chief executives, city officials and run-of-the-mill millionaires” who attended the club?
I mean, CITY OFFICIALS? Does the LA Times have not a remaining shred of curiosity anywhere within its diseased journalistic body? If the LA Times can recite that Snctm membership list as a fact, then where are all the stories outing all these other perverts? After all, these people are presumably appearing in films and concerts that kids are watching, running companies, and holding public office?
To me, this story represents everything wrong about the culture in 2023. By pretending like orgy club membership is just another lifestyle choice that shouldn’t be judged, the LA Times is obsequiously protecting élite perverts who should probably be in jail, but at minimum should be financially ruined and forever driven out of polite society.
I don’t know who needs to hear this, but attending orgy clubs is NOT okay. Especially for presumed role models like actors, chief executives, and city officials. Sex clubs are morally wrong if not outright evil, and they DO hurt people, by encouraging sex trafficking.
Come on, LA Times. Do better.
Sex clubs are morally wrong if not outright evil, and they DO hurt people, by encouraging sex trafficking.
Senate Report: Hunter Biden Received $5.1 Million Days after Threatening Chinese Associate with ‘My Father’
Frank Bergman
June 24, 2023
Democrat President Joe Biden’s son Hunter received over $5 million in two payments from a Chinese Communist Party-linked energy company just days after he sent a threatening text message demanding payment from an associate in China.
As Slay News reported, the July 30, 2017 text message emerged earlier this week and shows Hunter Biden threatening his Chinese business associate Henry Zhao.
In the WhatsApp message, Hunter specifically identifies Joe Biden and uses his father’s name to turn the screws on Zhao.
However, a Senate report from September 2020 shows that two of Hunter Biden’s firms received $5.1 million from Chinese firm CEFC in early August 2017.
CEFC is controlled by China’s ruling Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
Huner’s threatening text message was revealed Thursday as part of a package of IRS whistleblower statements and evidence released by the House Ways and Means Committee.
“I am sitting here with my father and we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled,” Hunter Biden wrote to Zhao.
“Tell the director that I would like to resolve this now before it gets out of hand, and now means tonight.
“And, Z, if I get a call or text from anyone involved in this other than you, Zhang, or the chairman, I will make certain that between the man sitting next to me and every person he knows and my ability to forever hold a grudge that you will regret not following my directions.
“I am sitting here waiting for the call with my father.”
As Slay News reported Friday, photos found on the notorious “Laptop from Hell” show Hunter sitting in Joe Biden’s Corvette.
The images were taken at the Biden family home in Wilmington, Delaware on the same day as the WhatsApp text was sent.
New York Times reporter Ken Vogel noted the timing of the CEFC payments with the WhatsApp text.
“Within 10 days of Hunter Biden’s WhatsApp message to the Chinese official associated with CEFC, a CEFC subsidiary sent 2 payments totaling $5.1M to accounts linked to Hunter, according to records cited in the Senate GOP investigation,” Vogel tweeted.
IRS whistleblower Gary Shapley says he was barred from taking ‘certain investigative steps’ that could’ve led to President Biden
The IRS whistleblower accusing the Justice Department of interfering in the Hunter Biden tax fraud probe claimed in a new interview that his team was prevented from taking investigative measures that “could have led us to President Biden.”
IRS supervisory agent Gary Shapley, who delivered bombshell testimony to the House Ways and Means Committee in May related to the five-year-long tax fraud investigation of first son Hunter Biden, made the assertion in a sit-down with CBS Evening News that aired Tuesday.
“There were certain investigative steps we weren’t allowed to take that could have led us to President Biden,” Shapley told CBS reporter Jim Axelrod.
Shapley emphasized in the interview that the investigative procedures the Justice Department purportedly blocked his team from completing were a necessary part of the probe.
“We needed to take them,” he said.
The IRS agent noted that his team found evidence of several illegal business expenses during the course of the investigation, and suggested the evidence of alleged crimes perpetrated by Hunter likely would’ve quickly landed “any other person” in prison.
“If this was any other person, they likely would have already served their sentence,” Shapely said.
“There were personal expenses that were taken as business expenses, prostitutes, sex club memberships, hotel rooms for purported drug dealers,” he added.
Shapley, who is still working for the IRS, indicated that from 2014 to 2019, Hunter was found to have owed $2.2 million in taxes to the federal government.
The whistleblower further suggested that recent comments by Attorney General Merrick Garland about the “complete authority” Delaware US Attorney David Weiss had in investigating and charging Hunter don’t line up with what he witnessed as a member of the team probing the president’s 53-year-old son.
The attorney general also testified under oath to Congress earlier this year that Weiss was empowered to bring charges outside of Delaware.
“I documented exactly what happened. And it doesn’t seem to match what the attorney general or the US attorney are saying today,” Shapley said.
Shapley told the House Ways and Means Committee that Weiss sought to bring federal charges against Hunter in the Central District of California and in Washington, DC, last year and was denied both times by Biden-appointed US attorneys Martin Estrada and Matthew Graves. ...
The Delaware US attorney’s office announced last week that Hunter has agreed to plead guilty to federal tax and firearms charges in a deal that’s expected to carry no prison time and leave his record free of felony convictions.
Several legal experts have decried the government’s charging decision in the Hunter case as a slap on the wrist.
