Never heard of him before, but I can't help but approve of this:

If he's all in on harsh prosecutions for everyone involved in creating the virus and mandating the toxxine, then I'd be all in on him.

IT'S TIME TO REVIVE OUR
SHARED NATIONAL IDENTITY.
HERE'S HOW WE DO IT:
EMBRACE MERIT OVER IDENTITY POLITICS
MLK was right. We succeed in America not on the color of our skin, but on the content of our character - and our contributions.

DISMANTLE MANAGERIAL BUREAUCRACY
The people we elect to run the government should be the ones who actually run the government.

RESTORE FREE SPEECH
The best ideas win when no ideas are censored.

DEFEAT COMMUNIST CHINA
It's time to declare independence from Communist China: defeat them economically so we don't have to militarily.

So far with everything he has said I like Vivek. He got into politics after having to deal with woke shit running his company. His only challenge will be getting people to look past his name and that his parents are from India.

The democrats aren't going to allow a "person of color" to run, it would destroy the "republicans are racist" narrative.

We'd see the worst recession of anyones lifetime outside of someone that was 5 during the great depression. Government is bloated, but this is frankly one of the dumbest ideas I've ever heard of. Guess what happens 40% of restaurant close. 50% of those suppliers close. 20% of truck drivers lose their jobs. The chain reaction would be devastating.

You'd rather be a slave the the political class?

So take 500k federal employees paying say $10k/yr in federal taxes. Erase that.

A wopping $5 billion.

No, we just get people to recognize corruption and criminality, and deal with it.

The problem we face, is our government are the biggest criminals.

Wow, at 34 minutes in, Ramaswamy really starts to knock them out of the park!

I think he really hit on something when he points out that the religion of wokeness/climate/lgbtqwtfbbq is a symptom of deep void in people. They are lost and don't know where to turn, and this is something they can turn to, even if self-contradictory and harmful.

The right answer is to give them an affirmative vision of the future based on family and nation, drawing from the founding principles of the US.

@FortwayeAsFuckJoeBiden One way to look at is like Ramaswamy says in the interview in the comment above.

Those people lost sheep. They desperately need a positive vision of the future.

But you know, I still have not heard even one presidential candidate talk about the harm that the Federal Reserve does and why it should be disbanded.

I stand corrected.

God bless Ron Paul.

I think Ron Paul is a genuinely good man. I once thought John McCain was at one point too, also Al Gore and John Kerry. Those people certainly are not.

Be cautious with Vivek Ramaswamy. He might just be a complete piece of Neocon shit. I thought Ilhan Omar couldn't be that bad at one point. I mean, a Muslim, at least she'd be against AIPAC - not really. She's as much of a warmonger as George W. Bush, John Kerry, Barack Obama, John McCain, Mitt Romney, Liz Cheney, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, or Nancy Pelosi.

These people sell out, or they are sellouts to start with.

I don't even trust Ron Paul to be honest. I can see him pulling his punches, because if he actually went full out, he thinks he would be destroyed. He's probably right. Paul even said that if he was allowed to win the RNC nomination, he was pretty confident he'd have been murdered to prevent ascension to the presidency so his run was all for show.

Nobody knows he said that, and I'm not going to find the video where he said it. You have to be willing to die to really educate the public and as I get older, I get more willing.
63   mell   2023 Aug 20, 9:33am

For those who don't like rap, Vivek also plays classical piano, quite well. He's pretty educated and talented, and Trump's most ardent supporter. They should run together imo.

If you're not immediately suspicious of absolutely everyone running for public office, why not? I think the public should be skeptical of anyone that says they want to hold one of the most powerful positions in the country.

He alone defended Trump.
Those other loser assholes up on stage were only slightly less ridiculous than the Fox dickheads.
I suspect that Brett is a flaming undercover fag.

100% my son and I couldn't stand most of them.

Look at this bag of dicks wearing Isreal/US pin, notice Isreal flag is on top.

Like Vivek said they are all bought and paid for. Vivek did a decent job and won the debate, he should run with the Donald
73   Ceffer   2023 Aug 24, 7:46am

Anybody in the orbit of the Yale-Oil-Skull & Crossbones-Nazi axis is guilty of being a Manchurian pretender until proven otherwise. Like DeSantis, Vivek is controlled opposition until proven decisively otherwise. The Napoleonic Code of guilty until proven innocent stems from Yale=Bush, Clintons, Rhodes, Chatham House, CFR, Trilateral etc. He's already lied about taking his Law School scholarship from the Soros entity, when he absolutely did not need it.

Of course he will pretend not to be a Globalist, but already emulates the fake front of being a non-dynastic meritocrat just pulling himself up from his bootstraps with pluck and ambition. Look at all of the ilk. Scratch a bit and you will see the Pharaonic underpinnings beneath the masks.
74   gabbar   2023 Aug 24, 8:06am

Based on performance, he should be the Presidential or Vice Presidential candidate. But he won't make it.

You can't make it anywhere without taking part and being part of the system. We all are to some extent. It's irrelevant what their past affiliations or pledges were. What matters is the now and if they execute their promised policies. Trump is/was part of the system, how do you think he became a real estate tycoon. Doesn't mean you can't do good things with your name and money later on.

Amazes me how so many so-called Conservatives or Libertarians are glomming onto this charlatan. This dude is such a phony. We are not talking ancient history with all of his terrible Leftist and Authoritarian positions.

It's all style over substance with some people on the Right.

Kind of like the unthinking Liberal Wine Moms or Affluent White Female Liberals (AWFL's) who complain about crime, COVID lockdowns and dysfunctional schools but keep voting straight ticket for Democrats.

You'd like the geriatric fraction to carry on leading this country into demise lol. Heard this line time and time again. Every newcomerand non politician is "phony", esp. if they are young. Vivek is better than everyone else on that stage. Actually De Santis did very well too, but he seemed a bit stiff and scripted. Nonetheless Vivek and Ron were the clear winners.
78   socal2   2023 Aug 24, 8:34am

Ramaswamy says Trump was the "best president in the 21st century" - so why is he running against him in the primary?

He's obviously gunning for a VP spot and taking pot-shots at other candidates while Trumpworld was busy having dinner with establishment Media this week and shaking down seniors for donations for his ever growing massive legal bills.

Oh he accepted 90k from a soros? Oh no!!!!!!! That's surely far worse than the entire gang accepting Koch bothers money dicks to the tunes of several millions. That article is ridiculous. The only good point is him embracing masks at some point. Many were super cautious in the beginning, and coming out of India they probably appreciate the increased hygiene in the US. Also we need to break the reign of the geriatrics. Trump/ramaswamy or Trump/rfk would be my favorite tickets, followed by DeSantis with the same vps. Not that's gonna happen, hopefully Trump won't pick some asshat. Yes Trump is technically too old, but at least he's still sharp. 4 more years of Trump may be needed to correct this mess.

Edit: Take out the cash, and dunk it in a plastic bucket. Then microwave it on low to disable any hidden microchip.

So, we can put you down as a person with questionable principles? And that's being generous.
83   Patrick   2023 Aug 24, 9:41am

In Ramaswamy's defense, he is the only candidate I've seen who CLEARLY states what he stands for in opposition to the Democrat/FBI/woke party of corruption:

God is real.
There are two genders.
Human flourishing requires fossil fuels.
Reverse racism is racism.
An open border is no border.
Parents determine the education of their children.
The nuclear family is the greatest form of governance known to mankind.
Capitalism lifts people up from poverty.
There are three branches of the U.S. government, not four.
The U.S. Constitution is the strongest guarantor of freedoms in history.

Got this from a fundraising email of his right now. I signed up to his mailing list.
84   RayAmerica   2023 Aug 24, 9:42am

With all of the problems facing America, do any of these candidates appear to be the answer?

The one statement made by Ramaswamy that is very true: "Everyone on this stage is bought and paid for," except him, of course. But I have my doubts about him too. For two entire years, the World Economic Forum had him on their list of the 'up and coming world.' It was only after this dubious accolade drew criticism during the campaign that Ramaswamy sued to have his name removed. Very suspicious behavior by one that claims to be the outsider in the race.

Patrick says

God is real.

Which 'god' does Ramaswamy believe in?
86   RWSGFY   2023 Aug 24, 9:57am

Ramaswami is a stupid cunt:

1) his solution to Soviet aggression in Europe is to set another "38th parallel north" line and things somehow magically stay frozen w/o any US involvement;

2) the boob doesn't understand that back in 1950 the US had to get involved with our boots on the ground and fight a bloody war precisely because it set up the "38th parallel north" line and had to enforce it once the Soviets decided to violate the agreement (which they ALWAYS do if not properly deterred).

So setting some kind of "line" is the road to either be rolled later or getting really involved (not just sending some 80s vintage surplus iron). Anybody who has at least 2 brain cells to rub together can see this from 1000 miles away.
87   clambo   2023 Aug 24, 10:25am

My principles are if someone offered me money I would probably take it if there are no strings attached.
I can't bring back the dead either.
