Ron Paul is said to have been robbed by the GOP back in 2016. This has always been very confusing to me. If they can do whatever it is they did to Ron Paul, how come they wouldn't or couldn't do it to Trump? Is this another example of how Trump is a player in the circus that is TPTB?

Ron Paul was redirected out of his safe district in SE Texas by Texas repubs, at a cost of losing part of district to democrats. Uniparty…

Wait, Ron Paul was robbed in 2016? To favor who? Trump, whom the GOP didn't want as a candidate then? Makes no sense.

Never has to make sense for these guys.

Remember how Rand Paul was the first to come out swinging at Trump during the first debate - basically saying "What is this New York Liberal doing on the stage with us?"

It's called politics.

Remember when Kamala Harris stated in one of the debates that she didn't believe Joe Biden 'was a racist,' and then went on to describe why he is a racist due to his racist votes that 'hurt' her as a 'little girl?'

Here it is. It's funny to watch:

Kamala Harris: 'That little girl was me'

It had nothing to do with Trump and not everything that happens in this world has connection with Trump, Freemasons, or Ukraine.

According to Ron Paul, it was internal TX Republican politics. They needed a more loyal good old boy in DC and disliked the way how Paul voted.

Yeah - but I don't see quality Conservative or Libertarians like Rand Paul, Thomas Massie or Chip Roy supporting Trump during the primaries.

I am sure they will all support Trump in the General (as I will) since the alternative is so much worse - but we all know we are about to nominate the one guy that has the highest likelihood to lose again because he is so uniquely unpopular with a huge chunk of the population.

I think you're buying into the message of the mainstream media propaganda machine. Today's Iowa Caucus will be an indication as to how popular/unpopular Trump is.

He didn't lose in 2020 ... the election was clearly stolen in the battleground states, particularly in the inner cities/counties. I'm convinced that they will do the exact same thing again, and there is nothing within the infrastructure to stop it.

Yep - if DeSantis doesn't win or come in a really close 2nd this week in Iowa, it is all over. I really hope the polls are wrong and the Republicans haven't allowed the Media and Democrats radicalize us to support our weakest candidate in the General.

Then why are we nominating the same fucking guy who could only win a squeaker election in the best of circumstances?

If it is not close, they can't cheat.

Just imagine if our nominee was free of scandal and indictments and could point to how successful they were in getting their large state election system cleaned up where they can count all the votes in a single day?

Instead we are going to be stuck with clown-car retard grifters in Trump's orbit having to defend previous bullshit allegations like servers in Venezuela and talking about the Kraken.

So in less than a year, if/when Trump loses again - MAGA will all be here impotently crying about voter fraud. And Trump will go down in history as being a 2 time loser to the Democrat's weakest nominee in recent history.

What you don't get is the democrats and RINOs will simply have their brains re-chipped to hate on the next person just as much. Unless they are uniparty globohomo fags.

Repubs know Trump is their only chance. Probably even most rhinos will eventually support/endorse. That dude's like teflon

You mean the Republican candidate that beat Obama's 2008 AND 2012 vote tally in 2020, and was only "outvoted" by 3AM Ballot Drops in 2020?

Trump is the greatest Republican popular vote getter in all US History

What's there to debate about? Nimratta just wants to talk about how we "need" millions of unskilled illegals.

Ron Paul certainly faced hilarious overt bias by the media and in the debates in the 2012 cycle. I don't think he was planning on running in 2016.

In one 2012 debate, the moderator asked all 5 of the other contenders their views on Medicare and tried to skip over Ron Paul; the audience booed loud and long enough that the moderator finally had to ask the only board-certified MD on the stage if he had any thoughts on Medicare.
13   theoakman   2024 Jan 15, 7:11pm

Ron Paul was basically prevented from winning in 2008 when he squashed McCain in the debates. Fox even kept him off a roundtable event. They were basically plotting the same crap against Trump with Ted Cruz winning Iowa in 2016. But during the debates, they tried to get all the Republicans to pledge on the first question to not run as a 3rd party candidate if they don't get the nomination. Trump refused to pledge...basically letting them know, you try to screw him, he'll just run 3rd party and ensure they lose. He used that leverage over them and they backed off.

It was a COVID lockdown election with mail in ballots. Of course it was going to have record turnout.

There were several states where the Republican Governor, Senate and House candidates got more votes than Trump did.

Ron Paul had a LONG history of voting against the establishment. Trump has no voting history, comes from NY real estate, so the threat was not close to the same level. No one who advocates auditing the Federal Reserve is going to be allowed in the office.

And yet when Haley attacked Trump - it is suddenly not politics, but "meat curtain establishment something-something". 🤡

MAGA are the thinnest skinned hypocrites ever.

The poo throwing monkeys love every time Trump jumps into the gutter criticizing his political opponents with ludicrous claims (New York/California was better than Florida on COVID, "Meatball Ron"), but shriek like little girls any time anyone makes a legitimate complaint against Trump's record.
