It's truth - everything I'm posting is a great reason to dismiss Water's opinions. He's not just wrong in one, wrong in all, he's been wrong on many things.

Specifically what? You might argue that Einstein was wrong to refuse to accept the presidency of Israel, is that a reason to ignore Relativity?

AmericanKulak says

You often do this, where you claim evidence hasn't been provided for when it has been already, and not long ago.

I've just not seen it. In truth, I'm not very interest in people's OPINIONS, particularly celebrities because their opinions are often purchased, I mean - look:

If person's "opinions" are purchased that's the ONLY reason to dismiss them summarily. That's why you ignore 99.9% of politicians and EVERYBODY in corporate "mainstream news".

Eric Waters was still a card carrying communist, and his mother was married to him, no?

So what?

The man that wrote the Pledge of Allegiance was Francis Bellamy who was a "Christian Socialist".

I gather Kulak is getting the RW oppositional defiant treatment. Just wait a while, he'll get tired of you and pick on somebody else.
8   Ceffer   2023 Jun 10, 4:45pm

Is Patnet on that list?

I never get tired.

The left will use emotive tactics to turn people against other people. That's what AmericanKulak is doing with Roger Waters, and he did the same with David Irving. That's a very bad habit, and I'm gently pointing that out.

If Hiter, Stalin, and Mao all agreed that water was wet, what are we supposed to do then? Deny that it is?

Likewise, I don't like cults of personality, like Benjamin Fulford who for YEARS has been "predicting" bullshit and been wrong over, and over, and over again. The same is true of "Jim Willie", and "Cliff High", or Jim Cramer, or Matthew Simmons back in the day. You could even say Rachael Maddow, Sean Hannity, etc - all corporate media is the same bullshit. People who are consistently wrong and make incorrect predictions should be shunned not celebrated, and not referenced.

There's people that make REAL FUCKING EFFORT to be informed and those assholes get in the way of it.

The View just got cancelled, and all they've been doing is stirring up hatred and misinforming their foolish audience for at least a decade. It's one thing to make mistakes, who doesn't make mistakes? It's another to lie, purposely, and not get punished for it.

Two different magesteriums (Politics and Science), versus clear Geopolitical/Political stances, held one after the other and proven wrong about them all.

Yes, I am doing that.

I also showed proof of Irving fabricating people and deliberately misrepresenting primary sources, in two instances, via a video where the host encourages the viewers to, in real time, compare the differences between Irving's account and the primary source it's drawn from, and the 'pulled from the atmosphere" additions and distortions.

It's a thinking tool I use - I call it the "Freidman-Kramer Process" and it's basically this:

Once upon a time I had a great meme in Spanish. It was a dude telling his lifetime friend/neighbor/coworker in every decade since the 60s:

1st Guy: "60s - Castro is Good. 80s - The Sandinistas will eliminate poverty. 90s - Subcommandante Marcos will heal Mexico. 2000s - Chavez and Maduro will fix Venezuela."
2nd Guy: "You're always wrong, Man! Why should I listen to you about Maduro?"
1st Guy: "Did you just misgender me?"

Now should the guy take his friends political opions seriously going forward after being consistently wrong?

In my old fart age, I give influencers/public figures a pass for being "Wrong" or occasionally wrong - or disagreeing with me on a few big issues. For example, I get that people who were born or raised in the "Better living through chemistry" age in the 50s and 60s might be less skeptical of COVID bullshit, though they get Woke Bullshit and Trans Bullshit.

Waters doesn't get this break because of his long streak of being down for every Left Wing Cause celibre, decade after decade without fail, from Falklands to Nuclear Disarmament, to Militant Atheism, to Maduro.

I'm also an adherent of Orwell's "On Nationalism", when he talks about the hypocrisy of MOST pacificists in the 1930s and their true motivations.

It's valid and useful to point out a perennially wrong guy is making a claim. It's no different than when Thomas Friedman says "6 more months in Iraq" or worships big corps and the CCP, and makes another prediction. "This guy is always wrong."

Or when Kramer downplays a stock's problems and tells people not to worry about it.

What? With regard to my post?

This site isn't full of shit enough to make a list.

There's two formula's for success that I can find in "news" media. Lie in favor of the government, you'll get plenty of sponsorship, remember "the government" are just corporations. So you'd have to promote vaccines and promote whatever war the US currently is in. The other formula is "have secret information" and beg for money while claiming you take great risks to get this information out. This is 1/2 of what Alex Jones does, is ENTIRELY what Jim Willie does, and Benjamin Fulford, among a few others. They make money by producing useless "news" letters.

Where? Point to the post.

If you did, I didn't see this post.

Post the links in response to this post, I will certainly read that.

I don't want to hear what people SAY about other people. I only want to see the primary source. I've seen Norman Finkelstein being called an anti-Semite by various people.

I am not interested in unsupported claims. The Internet exists so that all source material is available, but STRANGELY people forget to archive, bookmark, and they sure as hell don't bother with links.

I'm not trying to back you into a corner either with this. For all I know you're correct, but I'm not going to trust your impressions and even if you're incorrect, that doesn't mean you're lying, it means you're just repeating something you've come to believe. I do my BEST not to do this, but I still do it. It's impossible not to do it.

I know how people are manipulated and controlled, but knowing how it works (well, a lot of the methods) does NOT magically free me of it. It just allows me to notice it and avoid the people doing it to me PROVIDED I'm paying attention. Why do you think I don't own a television? I know it manipulates me so I avoid it. The ONLY time I'll listen to it is when I'm ACTIVELY looking for deception and that's in small amounts.

AmericanKulak says

I don't know if these are David Irving's opinions. I don't pay attention to hearsay evidence, particularly with people who have been vilified. In fact, the more BULLSHIT I hear about a vilified person's opinion, the more I tend to listen to them.

It's easy to discredit a liar, but when you lie about a supposed liar, I ask why? That's David Duke too, and Duke IS A RACIST, unquestionably, but he's not an idiot, I disagree with his OPINIONS, but he's correct that white people are vilified, and he was right about this 30 years ago and if you listen to his ANCIENT stuff where he's allowed to actually speak, I think you'd find his a clear thinking individual how has a consistent set of evidence and beliefs to make his point.

Can you say that about Rachael Maddow whose "opinions" depend on what party voted for a war? If, say, Mitt Romney was president and overthrew Ukraine in 2014, pretty certain she'd vilify that, but at the same time paint Zelenskyy as a reformer who is cleaning up the mess of Romney's intervention. If John McCain bombed Libya and Syria she would have vilified it.

The value of a source isn't their opinions, it's their information. If I wanted opinions, I'd own a television and watch network news, but it's ONLY opinion, and the facts are either propaganda, or misleading at best. They never source ANYTHING, because, god forbid, if you checked their facts, you'd see readily they are misleading their audience, EVERY TIME. When did the View ever mention who the people that Rittenhouse were, and cover their history? NEVER, but they allowed their audience to believe for more than 1/2 a year that Rittenhouse shot black men in a "mostly peaceful protest".

LOL! Reliably wrong is kind of a barometer in and of itself. "So many suckers, so little time!" Gots you the wardrobe, the script writers, the makeup department, the media platform, you are golden because you will always churn some suckers.

What's the saying about celebrities? Don't waste too much time (with a few exceptions) listening to them on any topic of fact or opinion that is outside of the narrow realm of their art, especially politics, religion, history, medicine, biology, etc. They are invariably beguiled by entourages that suck up to their narcissisms, often gorked on drugs, and have little appreciation in their grandiosity for the limitations of epistemology.

Well, Waters is a Left Wing Turd, militant atheist ("What God Wants"), the son of a Communist and School Teacher, who thinks Maduro isn't a dictator, hates Trump, wanted the US to unilaterally disarm all it's nukes in the 1980s, and tried to stop a concert for Food Aid to Venezuela a few years ago saying it was just propaganda.

You always say all this shit. Everything you said is nothing but a long ad-hominem attack.

Show what he's actually said, quote him, and explain why he's wrong. You emotionally vomit all over the place too often.

Waters father was killed in 1944 and Waters was born in 1943. His father had no direct influence over him.

He didn't say anything about Water's father. And most everything he said about Roger Water's character is the straight up gospel.
HE was one of the Anti Trump cheer leaders and loathes the conservative base with a purple passion. Which is very strange, because it appears to me, his biggest fans are Conservatives. I once knew an Israeli that couldn't speak a word of English, but could sing every lyric on the Dark Side of the Moon on pitch with perfection. He was also a decorated Israeli army vet with lots of Palestinian kills under his belt. .He was a visiting friend of the next-door Israeli who could speak English. PInk Floyd fans, aren't your average Urban and Hip Hop listeners. He bet on the wrong horse and he is paying for it. He thought he was on the Liberal team and they used him and spit him out. Now they are canceling him with the "Anti-Semite" canard. I have been enlightened to Roger Waters since at least 2007, he has been talking shit about Americans on NPR since then. Back when he was NPR's favorite White Boy. Him along with that stupid Cunt John Cleese, another Jackass that talked shit about Conservative Americans, and now is getting the shitty end of the stick shoved up his ass.

"News" frauds aren't all government patsies. They just don't think the truth matters, and it's an easy grift to make stuff up.

Look, I would be considered a liberal myself, a 1990's liberal.

I despise Clinton, Joe Biden, and Barack Obama, they are all just complete warmongers.

I also don't think Israel is a reasonable country at all. It's a nation that is ethnocentric, they are HIGHLY racist, and they have no claim on the land they are on. They treat the Palestinians unfairly, and the only countries they "get along with", are the ones they have successfully blackmailed the leadership of. Epstein worked for them.

If the US could get rid of the pedophiles and criminals in our government, there would be no support for Israel.

Water's is a 1960's liberal, not a position I'm entirely in disagreement with. My main disgust of those people from 60 years ago, is they are so stupid, they don't recognize that Donald Trump is more inline with their STATED beliefs than Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, or Barack Obama are. They don't have any principles, but Waters does, whether you agree with them or not.
