About time states stood up to the the feds on more than just cannabis.

Mis Suegros drove to LA to apply for naturalization for my wife and her brothers. My co-worker from Mexicali was very proud of taking the citizenship test and becoming an American. Fuck illegals. Supporting them is disrespectful to everyone who put in the hard work to do it right.

Fuck other countries, have some pride and fly an American flag first.

This one is easy: from the Pentagon budget, just like when Trump repurposed a chunk of it for the construction of the wall.

Other states are sending their Nat Guard units to Texas to help. That's a lot of money.

Trump repurposed $16-18B iirc.

Word is that the Texas State Guard - not the National Guard - is also deployed. That is fully State Militia and not subject to Federal oversight. Also Rangers, State Police, etc. that can't be Federalized.

Some on the alternative sites are issuing tradecraft instructions to those who go to Texas for this stuff. No cell phones, no burners, no pads, travel with cash only, etc. etc. No vehicle with tracking devices that can be attributed to you, nothing that can place you in the proximity of shit going down so the FBI doesn't come knocking on your door to throw you into the DC Lubyanka.

In an interview from India, Gov. Greg Abbott says ten other states have sent national guard to the Texas border, and others will follow. Abbott says he is “prepared” for a conflict with federal authorities.

https://twitter.com/TuckerCarlson/status/1750943686567834008

It was helpful to hear directly from Governor Abbott, who seems uncharacteristically fired-up. He pointed out that on March 5th, a new Texas law takes effect allowing any law enforcement officer in Texas to arrest people who illegally cross the border, teeing up a whole new conflict with the feds. Abbott reported that ten states so far have sent National Guard or other law enforcement to help. He also vowed to continue clamping down the border until January 20th of next year, when a new president is sworn in, and this thing can be fixed for good.

The Democrats are trying to jump-start a narrative alleging Republicans and red states are “defying the law” and are therefore “anti-democratic” insurrectionists. Expect to see Biden propose a series of unworkable “compromises” before claiming that Republicans are unreasonable and it’s all their fault. ...

Uh huh. The truth is, the border crisis began when Biden revoked three Trump-era executive orders. If he wanted to, Biden could solve the border crisis in five minutes just by re-issuing those orders or combining them into a single order if that would be more convenient. He doesn’t need Republicans.

So far, despite democrats’ best efforts, the border continues to be a losing issue for Biden. You can tell because the New York Times’ website this morning didn’t include any border story, not even about Greg Abbott’s Defiance. Same for the Wall Street Journal, which managed to cram a story about the $83 million Carroll verdict onto its home page but reported nothing about the border crisis. The top story on the Washington Post’s site is something about Trump’s future plan for economic war with China — and nothing about the border.

They have already wreaked the country, I dont even care if shit pops off now. It's time for mass helecopter deportations. Commies have won they ruined large swaths of the US already and it will take drastic actions to fix and rebuild. We are definitely at the forth turning.

Don't count on Biden or Democrats to stop illegal immigration. It just won't happen. They are paid by Globalist who wants to destroy US and they don't care.
Any removal of those who enter not through official entry point should be easy. I would not bother to fly them to home country. Just push them over the border their enter. If Canadian, that also ok. They already know road back to their home country. Can ask cartel for refund.
Texas rocks!

While I agree with the intent, these statements and dates regarding 1861 and 1941 are garbage history. They don't stand up to scrutiny. They are propaganda. They are also great examples of how wars are justified and explained. There are years of slaughter and destruction during which anyone with a nuanced view can either be shouted down because the death and destruction has an enormous emotional impact, or they are themselves killed, or in effect, nuance itself is killed by grief. The years 1861 and 1941 are also great examples of post facto logic. Lincoln did not reckon by anti-slavery in 1861 and Roosevelt did not reckon by "anti-fascism" in 1941. By this logic, if 2024 is the year a great conflict begins, it won't be remembered for the reason it was begun, but for some outcome after the fact that will be deemed to be desirable by the masses. (it of course depends on who wins.) Lincoln was not thinking about slavery in 1860 and 1861 when he made his decisions about forcing seceded states to return to the "union." Lincoln was a reckless dictator, or at best, a clever and unethical man riding a wild tiger (the passions of war); he knew that "you don't dare dismount." He sought for something to justify the massive waste, slaughter, and ruination of the constitutional republic, when he belatedly chose to hang the whole enterprise on ending slavery, which even in 1864, only a minority agreed with. FDR is given total carte blanche in history for a whole host of reasons, the main one being that his people not only captured government, they created most of what we came to know as government, and they ushered in decades of control over the narrative and institutions. (Including this moment on our timeline.) So they can claim whatever they wish to about his decisions in 1941. Just as a teensy example of the corruption ushered in by the "New Deal": employees of all the new federal agencies created by the FDR administration were used to campaign for FDR, other New Deal Democrats, in state and federal elections, and at every level of local politics. Any objective look at the actual record of FDR's foreign policy reveals that in the Pacific he manipulated the Japanese into invasion of what were European colonies (aren't we supposed to hate colonialism?), and in the Atlantic, he repeatedly violated U.S. federal law regarding neutrality towards the European powers. These are big and complex topics and arguments, but my point is, be careful when reducing huge tragic events to [year]: [dear leader] decided to fight [easily understood evil]

President Biden pauses approval of liquid natural gas exports because of "climate concerns" and TOTALLY NOT because he's trying to economically sanction Texas

On Friday, hours after Biden's deadline for Texas to remove their National Guard troops from the border expired, the President decided to take action that would put a pause on liquid natural gas (LNG) exports.

You know, because of climate change. Nothing to do with the fact that it disproportionately hurts Texas.
65   stereotomy   2024 Jan 28, 12:09pm

Biden is backing off, and now plans to use economic warfare against Texas; namely, a review of foreign sales of oil and gas. IOW, if Texas can't export gas and oil, it will impact them economically.

However, given the strategic oil reserve has been depleted, this means that world oil prices, in the event TX can't export, will rise, especially if the Saudis play along. The price of oil is determined at the margin, and if 5% of world oil sales goes away, look forward to $200/bbl oil again.

In a way, it's good that the fucktards running this country are completely ignorant of real economics. The knowledgeable and the prepared just have to tough out a few years until it all implodes or the emperor is revealed to be naked.
