People bitch about sharia courts where women need 2 or 3 (I forget how many exactly) corroborating witnesses in order for their testimony to be valid. That is the same as it was 1000 years ago, when in the West, women couldn't testify at all. Given the outrageous perjury testimony of women, I gotta hand it to the musselmen - good call.

I've noticed a few things from reading the classics:

- Women are not mentioned much.
- A few women gained a lot of power and money by being high-end escorts, where they could get paid to manipulate certain men's political decisions.
- Greek homosexuality was mostly men fucking boys. This also occurred among the Romans, but not as much.

While reading Plutarch's life of Cato, I ran across a guy who had a man killed just to show off to his boy-toy:
