In court, Puru advises them to seek right of asylum to stay in the country by claiming that their lives are under threat in India. As an ex-army soldier, Hardy refuses to betray his country, but the rest agree to get asylum and settle in England. Hardy is deported to India while the rest become British citizens.
There should be no political asylum visas.
A young Sikh guy I know told me some interesting immigration stories. He said he and his family came to the US from India on a tourist visa more than 10 years ago. They simply overstayed their visa and applied for "asylum" as political refugees, though they really came only for economic reasons and not for any political reason.
Almost 100% Sikhs got killed right after India got partitioned in new country Pakistan side by Muslims. Only few were able to move into India, the best place for them to survive.
Khalistan is made up by West and its Military pawn Pakistan to use it to destabilize India. Some of those operations are backfiring to allowing some Sikhs move back to sponsored Western countries.

Yes Lot of these guys are forced into saying they are abused so they can stay. Sometimes it's a bitch to go back, since where ever they came from will ban them.

see above around 2 minutes and 10 seconds when Biden says around 2015 that its a good thing that the USA is becoming a white minority country
look at the doe eyes next to him, yes that person would later become Biden's DHS secretary
It is strange why Biden would want that? Can you explain what have whites done to him?

its a continuation of Obama's "fundamentally change America" agenda
They haven't heard back from the US government about their application, but also have not been asked to leave the US.
He said there is a significant industry in Punjab in printing up "Independent Khalistan" party papers specifically to get "asylum" in the US. You have to pay to join the party, but then you have something to point to if your "asylum" case in the US ever gets adjudicated. For the same reason, a lot of Sikhs who are illegally in the US attend Punjabi independence rallies in Yuba City, CA (big Sikh population there) and take pictures of themselves at the rallies and post them on social media for more evidence to show naive US immigration officers.
He also said there are some true believers who want an independent Punjab and are persecuted for it in India, but they are a small minority of Punjabi "asylum" seekers.
