Now? Ever been to Oakland? I was born in Oakland and there have always been hoods that you could get robbed in broad daylight. The difference now is that the hoodlums commute on BART.

A guy I used to work with just got robbed in Oakland a few days ago by three black guys at a traffic light, one with a gun. They took all his stuff but not the car.
