I don't routinely wear wedding band either except for social occasions. It irritates my finger something fierce, with soap and stuff getting under it, and some kind of mild contact allergy with the metals. I have another backup wedding band in Santa Cruz to plop on when occasion demands. I think wearing rings is kind of an individual thing.

when you've been married as long as I have, you might discover that one of the best things you can do is sleep in different rooms. I'm a deep sleeper so the dogs sleep in my room.
