Now Harris is +4 in the Morning Consult pool for 4 August. Harris can win popular vote by 4% over Trump but that does not mean she win the electoral vote.

What causes that fear of Trump exactly?

I don't think he'd be posting here at all if his post titles were even close to true. So this very thread indicates that Trump actually has more momentum than ever, and it's making some people nervous.

So what is it that drives TDS?

The entire professional class is afraid for their status, which took pretty extreme hits lately by proving they could be paid off to say literally anything, no matter how murderous and false, as long as it was profitable and protected their own jobs. The worst of these was the campaign to inject everyone on earth with a dangerous genetic experiment for the profits of Pfizer (and to justify mail-in ballots).

That "fear of falling" is one possibility, but there are a lot of others. Older single women ("cat ladies") have conniptions about Trump due to some sexual daddy dynamics I can't quite articulate, but see over and over.

In a way, I'm being a jerk for psychoanalyzing him, but otoh, I really do want to understand it. The one thing I'm 100% sure of is that the TDS surface arguments are just rationalizations for something deeper which cannot be spoken.

Conservatives are busy working so they don't get polled as much. Basically dems are over sampled by default or left leaning independents because they're part time workers or don't have a job. If the Dem candidate isn't up 6% or more it's a tie. If it's less, they will likely lose. Kamala is up I think .05% or so. That's not winning. And that's why she's hiding.

4 years is a long time from the last primary. Once she starts answering questions she's going to look like the idiot she is. Covid aside, what 4 years were better? I'd say Trump.
