You tell them to get off their ass and join your party at the party level and caucus to vote in real constituent minded non political neighbors in surrounding districts to change your state party leadership. Not even at the local level? That's where it matters the most. Being from IL I get your point. Right leaning and my vote doesn't matter nationally. But federal house reps and state elections you could help swing it. Then whatever City or Town you're in. Do you want the parks and rec to drop $2M on a dog park or some other weird shit? A school referendum that is unnecessary.

Always vote. Those of us in heavy blue states get disenfranchised. I get it being in IL. Still vote though. Takes 30 minutes out of the day if there's no lines at worst. This is where Republicans fail. You have to start from the ground up. School board, village or city council people, state reps and senators, etc. You have to change the culture there first. If you don't vote for those ancillary positions you're going to lose the federal level.

I am going to vote because they act guilty there, and I beam my hostile disapproval. I can see the Potemkin shit and the last couple of times I have told the registrar (LOL, no ID) that I look forward to the day when my vote will be counted and matter again.
