If you're active, beer is the best alcohol you can drink. As long as you're not shotgunning or doing beer bongs it's the best drink on the planet. 1-2 an hour at night, not driving, you feel nice. Hard liquor, nope. Wine makes me angry. Prosecco or similar makes me fuzzy and ready for a nap.

And no, I don't do this every day. I just like beer. My only beef is it's massively expensive in some place. Puerto Rico is a weird one. 10oz beers and it's expensive as can be. Even Florida is stupid expensive for beer. IL and WI are actually pretty damn good price wise so maybe I'm spoiled. Wisconsin though is just drunk.

I approve this message for Czechia

Wisconsin makes sense. Montana is getting Californiafied . Unless they include seltzers as beer. I think per capita the highest White Claw drinkers in the country. Not at all legal, but you can drink and drive out there. Road sodas. So maybe that's a factor.

You don't drink in town, but once outside of it, you crack a beer. Yes, driving. There's nothing. You'd have to be retarded to hit something or endanger someone. Go to Bozeman and do the loop. You'll thank me. Ennis is a cool little town. Lake Hebgen has a boatload of titty polaroids https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g45399-d540198-r393604108-Happy_Hour_Bar-West_Yellowstone_Montana.html. Lava Lake. Yellowstone if you want from the West. The Madison. Big Sky and some good food. Gallitan River. Legal weed.

Montana is underrated. The harsh winters blow. But skiing/boarding, ice fishing, snowmobiling and more are all fun in the winter. Beer.

I'm calling bullshit on those Beer Charts. Probably paid for by Inbev. I have never seen anyone drinking Stella. It has the smallest shelf space out of them all.
Less than natty ice.

It would be interesting to see overall alcohol consumption too. I'd bet Russia tops the list. And for wine, probably France.

A bit dated but:

India and rum? Didn't see that one coming. Vodka is obvious. Tequila and Rum is a surprise as well. I will partake maybe once every other year with some good stuff. Fuck gin. Sorry for Whiskey lovers. I'd rather get 3rd degree burns drinking fire from a garbage can.

Good rum is just that, good AND dangerous. I've had some stuff that is way too smooth. You don't know you're drinking the hard stuff. If you have the discipline get after it. I just can't do hard booze. A "big" night is 10 light beers on a weekend. Yes, a lot, but 6'3" and 220lbs. I haven't been drunk in a decade, beside maybe 5 times on vacation.

Some graphs have Portugal on top, but France is up there:

I do like a good wine. The outcome you may not like. I have no explanation for it. I want to hit people when I drink wine.

I wonder if there's been a study on it. I only can drink carbonated alcohol. I withhold from the wine at weddings or events with it. Not a fighter, but it puts me in the fighting mood. I don't get it.

I also don't necessarily trust these charts or stats. Let me know a single person that's truthful about alcohol consumption. I'm 3-10 beers a day. Closer to the latter number. Not proud of it, but I don't bull shit. Feel as good as I did in my mid 20's. On vacation days where I don't drive it could escalate to 20-30 a day (light beer).

No DUI's. No Domestic issues. No fighting with others. No arrests. Perfect blood tests recently. 3 kids with straight A's. I'm the textbook case of a functioning alcoholic. I frankly don't get it. I'm either lucky or I'm built differently. Unless you saw me drinking, you'd have no clue I had some beers or 10. Worst brag ever, but I've yet to meet anyone that can out drink me. I don't even get buzzed anymore. I just like beer.

Most open I've been with my drinking. So don't shit on me. If a meetup ever happens again and I can make it, you will see the Wookie. Probably 18 deep today and am ready to start a project at 1:15am midwest time. Might go to my storage unit. Getting work done after hours and taking naps during the days is the way. wwww

No clue what the quad w was. Legit know for sure I didn't type that. Sick of this auto anything shit. Just let me type and make my mistakes. www.website? I don't fucking know. I didn't type that. Especially after the comment I just made. Now everyone thinks I'm MC Hammered. I'm not. I took 2 naps today. Can't drink when you're sleeping.

Spain drinks more beer than wine per person?

Probably depends on the classification of wine? Sangria. Is that considered wine really? I never trust drinking stats. First no one is honest about their habits, I was above. Yes there are sales. I don't drink hard liquor and my wife only vodka, seltzers or Ultra. We probably have 200 bottles of hard stuff lying around the house. The cabinet above my fridge I have serious concerns it's going to break from the weight.

We could open a curbside bar instead of lemonade and make $2-3k in a day and still have more booze. Kind of need to get rid of it anyway. I'm not moving all that weight and glass. But that would be 100% illegal.

Back to Spain. I think an ice cold beer would be way more refreshing in that climate. I know it doesn't get super hot, but for me that would be my drink of choice even if I drank the hard stuff. Hard to deny an ice cold beer when it's warm.
