Trump missed a number of golden opportunities. IMO, here's just a few:
He should have hammered the Border Czar over and over again while bringing up specifics, such as actual families that have family members that were murdered by illegals, etc. Also, the fact that Chinese Fentanyl results in the deaths of 100,000+ Americans every year as a direct result of Biden/Harris border policies.

He should have gotten very specific on the economy, while reminding Americans how much less they were paying for energy, food, goods & services when he was POTUS. Interest rates were much lower as were home prices, now, both have increased dramatically to the extent that millions are now priced out of the home buying market.

He should have painted her as a green energy fanatic that is pushing EVs, while pointing out that most of the car manufacturers are drastically reducing their production of EVs because the American people simply do not want them. Also, that Biden spent over $8 Billion on creating only EIGHT charging stations.

Definitely should have spent more time on how dangerous the world has become, with China threatening Taiwan & Japan, etc. the ongoing disaster in the Middle East that could easily morph into a much broader M. E. war, along with the ever escalating Ukraine war that is now spreading onto Russian territory, etc. and will, if she is elected, end up with American boots officially on the ground in the near future. Think about World War III with a nation that has more nuclear weapons than we do, etc., etc.

He also should have reminded people what he was doing for the black community via his enterprise zones and that Black employment was at an all time high. That wasn't even mentioned.

When Charlottesville predictably came up, he should have strongly pointed out that the left leaning Snopes.com recently debunked the lie that he called Neo-Nazis 'very fine people' and challenged people to go their website to check that out. What is wrong with his handlers?

Harris did accomplish one thing; she got under Trump's skin and got him angry. I thought he did rather poorly before the break, but came back fairly strong in the 2nd. half, but his closing statement should have emphasized the highlights of what to expect from him if he wins. He really didn't do that and instead used his time to attack her.

Harris on optics probably won, but I don't think it's enough to sway significant numbers of undecideds. Having said all that, I still think that the puppet masters will do whatever it takes to prevent Trump becoming POTUS. If that takes a massive steal, another assassination attempt, whatever it takes, I don't see how he takes office. Just my opinion and I hope I'm wrong.

My take:
Nothing changed.

Kamala beat expectations by not cackling incessantly, but seemed neither genuine nor knowledgable. In fact, her over rehearsal mixed with some word salads when she got flustered hurt her. It would be obvious to the 5 actually independent voters left that the Media was in the tank for Kamala.

The media - including Fox - will try to create a fake small boost for Kamala. Might be a good buying opportunity for Trump bets on some betting sites.

This election will be determined by MAGA turnout and the Dem's ability to plausibly cheat.

Barnes is pretty acute and well informed so I'll take his word on it. I don't have much faith in the truth meters of the general public.

Trump is very careful to keep his rhetoric within the range of an average viewing audience, not specialists. He had a LOT of ammunition that he could have used for the well informed. However, he does labor to keep things at the Everyman level.

Problem is, when he is up against the adamant liars and Intel demons, it does put him at a bit of a disadvantage. To see that people still think he 'won' the debate, whatever that was, is nice.

Agreed. Perhaps his main task was to show how unfair the media and odds are to him. Also a 2nd debate can now be had on a more favorable channel. He had no option but to engage. I think Trump played soft. He can't alienate women. I think it was a 50/50. BUT, Trump won by not attacking her directly and answering the questions. No clue what Kamala said to be honest. Trump went pretty easy on her in my estimation, while she did that smarm and sneer thing that women and fags do (in like Maddow). I don't know if that reduced or even increased her appeal to viewers, aside from the litany of lies. The Intels and Deep State must have been pretty confident about the penetration of their Lies and Propagandas (in conjunction with the general dunderheadedness of the general public) to have had her reeling out the whoppers and straw men like she did, albeit with a very good stage face (probably the best indicator that it isn't the original KamalaToe).

Maybe Trump didn't think she was going to be as juiced, but gave her a reprieve in order to set her/it up for a second debate where he will really knock the wind out of her sails. There's that thing where a male doesn't want to come off as a bully to a female, even if the female is irrational and acting out.

It's one thing for Tulsi to see the lies, quite another for the population at large, especially those who choose to embrace the lies for whatever motive.

My Perspective On The 2024 Presidential Debate - Tulsi Gabbard

The praise for Chyna-loving pedo Orban was weird though: the guy is a pres of a midget country whose weight comes from weird EU and NATO rules giving outsize influence to this kind of midgets, and even then it's mostly limited to stalling important decisions which eventually go through anyway after his joke of a country gets some crumbs from the EU table . This kind of nobody shouldn't even be visible to Trump, lol.
