Domino died this morning at the age of 6 after an illness of about 2 months. She will be missed.
One of the other chickens was sitting next to her in the nest box this morning when we found her. Chickens do seem to watch out for each other when they are ill.

Chickens are especially productive and easy to care for.
The World Economic Forum (WEF) is demanding that governments enforce bans on members of the general public growing their own food at home in order to comply with the unelected globalist organization’s “Net Zero” agenda.
The WEF argues that home-grown food creates “emissions” that allegedly cause “global warming.”
According to so-called “experts” behind a recent WEF study, researchers apparently discovered that the “carbon footprint” of home-grown food is “destroying the planet.”
Everyone should be growing much of his or her own food at all times. Fuck the WEF.

Domino is two years old, and is the top chicken in our little flock. We hatched her and raised her ourselves. Makes it hard to eat chicken now.
