My wife and I had dinner with some new neighbors

At one point, the topic came up - what Netflix shows we watch. The couple listed off show after show after show that they watch and like.

I was asked no less then 6-7 times whether I’ve seen __________ show. To each I responded that I hadn’t. Nope, nope, not that one either lol

They were totally puzzled how someone could not watch Netflix. I told them that I don’t watch much TV and actually thinking of cancelling Netflix if my wife didnt watch occasionally herself.

Watch The Killer on Netflix, directed by David Fincher. Here is the link to the trailer, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5S7FR_HCg9g Not kidding, I watched it thrice.

Who seriously has time to watch shows? I'm literally out of work medically until May. I don't watch anything and have a decent amount of free time. Dick around here for an hour a day. Go for a walk. Not supposed to be driving a car legally but I do (not a DUI). So I'm still getting 3 kids around. I cook and clean. I don't get where this magic "free time" comes from for people.

About to spend two days at my mom's house fixing some things up for her. I need to spend probably 40 hours on figuring out a real estate deal with her so we can finally break ground on the house build. Maybe more time trying to get some partners to buy her land. Thinking of making it a club membership thing.

Tangent aside I really don't get how people have time to watch or want to watch TV of any kind. There are no good shows. And movies are god awful.

It seems the "Term of Service" agreements will negate any lawsuits from winning.

and then the execs blew each other exchanging phone numbers and pronouns.

jokes aside, those people will sell america down the river for profit. they already did. silicon valley brought so many foreigners, created woke culture. destroyed california. gained lots of money and too clueless to see how they are part of the problem.

Netflix (NFLX) stock is one of the best S&P 500 stocks Friday after the streaming giant beat top- and bottom-line expectations for its third quarter and issued a strong outlook for its fourth quarter.

In the three months ended September 30, Netflix said its revenue increased 15% year over year to $9.83 billion, driven by a 14% rise in global streaming paid memberships to 282.72 million. Its earnings per share (EPS) were up 45% from the year-ago period to $5.40.
The results topped analysts' expectations. Wall Street was anticipating revenue of $9.77 billion, paid memberships of 282.15 million and earnings of $5.12 per share, according to CNBC.

For the fourth quarter, Netflix said it anticipates revenue growth of 15% and paid net additions to be higher than in the third quarter. Given this outlook, Netflix is on pace to grow revenue by 15% for the full year, which is the high-end of its previous guidance for revenue growth of 14% to 15%.

"We're pleased that we've reaccelerated our growth and, as we head into 2025, we expect to deliver solid revenue and profit growth by both improving our core series and film offering while investing in new growth initiatives like ads and gaming," NFLX said.
For 2025, the company anticipates revenue in the range of $43 billion to $44 billion, representing year-over-year growth of 11% to 13% from its 2024 revenue forecast of $38.9 billion. Netflix said it expects this growth "to be driven by a healthy increase in paid memberships," as well as an expansion to its average revenue per membership.
