"All You Board Members, Superintendent, You've Gotta Stop"
original link
Dare County, NC Board of Education Meeting
February 8, 2022
datetoshareobx.org
MIKE REED: Hi my name is Mike Reed.[1] I'm going to introduce myself. You've never met me. My family and I moved down here from New York. We have 4 boys. Three of them are in the school system here at Dare County.
But what I can tell you is you're heading in the wrong direction, Mr. Farrelley.[2] You got to look at me. I'm not lying to you. It's going to get worse and worse and worse.
All the board members up there, you've got to stop. You've got to stop. And I know you threw the papers down and that's OK, even though you disrespect me, I still respect you. But we care about every single person in this community, so whether you are for a mask, against masks, I respect your decision 100%. Whether you're for the vaccine or against the vaccine, I respect that 100%.
But the last 2 months our fourth grader has been coming home saying he's having a hard time breathing. So if you care about my child, you got to take these masks off. They're doing about nothing. You can look evidence, show me the evidence that a mask works and I'll believe you, but there's not the evidence out there. Show me the evidence the vaccine works and I'll believe you,
but that's not out there either.
But what you're doing is you're destroying the kids, you're destroying the teachers. Coming out of New York I felt like I was leaving hell on earth. And if you continue, Mr. Farrelly, I totally respect you, but you cannot continue on this path because it only gets worse and worse.
You can see the divide. I want to bring the community together. We need to see these smiles on these kids' faces. We're never going to bring this community together unless you stop this tonight.
So my kid can't breathe and you guys are saying, oh, oh. That's not OK. He has an IEP[3] at the school. went into kindergarten nonverbal and we've got him to the point where he's very verbal now, he's basically a regular fourth grader, you know, where a normal fourth grader would be. But he can't breathe. So now tonight, after you guys don't vote for mask optional, I have to make a decision. And I love this community, I'll do anything for this community. Believe me, when I got down here, our family was so happy. And now we're back feeling like I'm in New York. It's hell on earth there, Mr. Farrelly, I'll tell ya.
Please, I don't care if you got to give the money back. 70% of these houses aren't even lived in, but everyone pays school taxes. We should have a ton of money here. All of them, everyone would probably, I don't even know, pay a little more taxes to get rid of and make up for 9 million dollars. I don't know, we bring in billions of dollars every summer.[4] I mean, just please give the money back. My kid can't breathe. And I got, we got to stop this tonight. I don't— Is anyone listening? Please. Just stop. It only gets worse, and— [time alarm sounds]
Oh boy, Mexico's in big trouble for this one.
Fans in the country, believe it or not, have a truly bad habit of chanting "puto" (translated roughly to "male prostitute") at the opposing goalie, and somehow this is considered anti-LGBTQETC.
censorship by stifling the spread of certain viewpoints is still censorship and "truth shaping."
there is no valid a priori means to determine which viewpoints are "false" or "harmful."
you can only know this after free, fair, and open debate in which all sides may be heard.
the solution to "wrong speech" is "more speech" not "limiting the reach of those in disfavor."
the open agora should not have hidden thumbs on the scales.
it’s also dangerous for X.
and to engage in such manipulation opens up a threat surface for the company as a whole.
and so linda, if you’re listening, please consider this:
if X insists on shaping idea and viewpoint accessibility and visibility and deciding which outlets it will allow to be carried and seen, don't be surprised when the congress-critters or the FCC come for your section 230 status and declare you not a carrier but an editor/curator.
because they will have a point.
because you will be.
Tens of thousands of Japan’s citizens have been flooding the streets in protest over the government’s push for new self-amplifying “replicon” mRNA “vaccines.”
The experimental “vaccines” were rolled out for public use this month after recently winning approval from Japanese regulators, despite a lack of safety data.
However, renowned experts have been raising the alarm of the new injections.
They are warning that the “self-replicating RNA vaccines” will “trigger a worldwide disaster.”
The Bill Gates-promoted self-amplifying mRNA shots contain the equipment needed to make more of itself once it enters cells.
The injections have been dubbed “replicon” vaccines because they are able to replicate inside the human body to produce more mRNA over time.
Japanese citizens fear they are being used as guinea pigs ahead of a global rollout of the injections. ...
Renowned epidemiologist Nicolas Hulscher told The Defender that “these products are completely new.
“There is absolutely no long-term safety data on them.”
“In the clinical trials for ARCT-154, injected participants experienced a 90% adverse event rate after the first dose in study Phases 1, 2, and 3a combined,” Hulscher said.
Of these adverse events, 74.5% were systemic — meaning they occurred in a part of the body distant from the point of injection — and 15.2% required medical attention.
Likewise, Karina Acevedo Whitehouse, Ph.D., a professor of microbiology at the Autonomous University of Querétaro in Mexico, told The Defender, “We do not know” the safety profile of the self-replicating vaccines.
Texas AG Ken Paxton Sues Dallas Pediatrician for Transgender Crimes Against Minors
First enforcement action under a state ban on treatment.
Texas recently passed a new law (subsequently upheld by Texas Supreme Court) that makes it illegal for healthcare providers to “affirm the child’s perception of the child’s sex if that perception is inconsistent with the child’s biological sex.” In other words, Texas doctors are prohibited from manipulating impressionable kids into wishing to be mutilated.
The new law authorizes the state to revoke doctors’ medical licenses if they prescribe puberty blockers and hormone therapies to children for so-called “gender affirming care.” ...
In the summer of 2020, when my mother developed severe COVID-19 symptoms and tested positive, her internist at UT Southwestern refused to prescribe a five-day course (200 milligrams twice per day) of hydroxychloroquine, citing the institution’s nihilistic treatment guidelines. Instead of receiving this FDA-approved medication—one the WHO’s Model List of Essential Medicines, with billions of doses tolerated over six decades—my mother was told to isolate at home and go to hospital if she could no longer breathe.
After experiencing major stress and inconvenience, we finally found an eye doctor who was willing to prescribe the medicine, and my mother much better a few hours after taking her third dose.
What happened to the UT Southwestern? My great grandfather, Rae Skillern was a generous benefactor of this Dallas institution when it was still known as the Southwestern Medical College. Were he alive today, he simply wouldn't believe that such spectacular, perverse crimes could be committed against minors in the name of "medicine" at this once respectable hospital and medical school.
Bravo Texas AG Ken Paxton for consistently advocating common sense, decency, and sanity. It's comforting to know that there are still a few real men left in our state institutions.
Signs of life in Canada! Canada’s Global News ran a story yesterday headlined, “Danielle Smith promises to review Alberta’s professional regulators, legislate limits.” It was terrific news coming from an unexpected place. ...
Smith was the first pandemic Premier to reject vaccine and mask mandates and move toward a return to normalcy. Now she’s proposed a set of new laws to protect free speech from insane regulations on “misinformation.” In particular, Smith is aiming at professional regulations for doctors and lawyers, which she agreed were important to maintain quality, but professionals’ personal opinions should not be regulated. Healthcare workers shouldn’t be punished for political comments.
In the clip linked above, Smith’s Justice Minister gave several examples, including Professor Jordan Peterson’s awful experience. Peterson was punished for using incorrect pronouns on Twitter — something that had nothing at all to do with his professional competence.
Interestingly, Premier Smith did not pick any pandemic examples, even though everyone knows that’s what she’s really talking about. ...
Anyway, Premier Smith once again wins the C&C “hero of the week” award, for her courageous defense of free speech in a critical area — professionals like doctors and lawyers, who were too scared of cancellation to be much help during the pandemic.
We badly need less orthodoxy among our credentialed classes.

"Ex-nurse on Kaiser Permanente vaccine mandate: ‘I truly believe in freedom’"
by Jaime Chambers, November 2, 2021

The specific Kaiser Permanente Hospital is not identified in the video, however in the following newstory it is named as Kaiser Permanente San Diego Medical Center in the Kearny Mesa community.
https://www.wtoc.com/2021/11/04/unvaccinated-nurse-posts-instagram-video-her-being-escorted-hospital/
TORI JENSEN, RN [filming herself]: I am being escorted out of Kaiser Permanente Hospital for my religious beliefs because I don't want to get the jab. And I asked all day for someone to explain to me why my sincerely held religious beliefs are not good enough for Kaiser. And no one was able to do that for me.
So now they're escorting me out because I wanted an answer and I'm not leaving without an answer. And I have some nurses here who are standing with me in solidarity. And I appreciate that. And I just want all of you to count the cost. I want you to watch this and think, what really matters to me? Because I am willing to lose my safety and security, my house, everything, for my freedom. And I want you to think about that.
RECORDED VOICE: Going down.
TORI JENSEN, RN: Let me ask you. Do you believe in religious freedom?
SECURITY GUARD: I do.
TORI JENSEN, RN: Well Kaiser doesn't. Do you believe in religious freedom?
WOMAN'S VOICE: One hundred percent.
TORI JENSEN, RN: Do you believe in religious freedom?
ANOTHER WOMAN'S VOICE: [inaudible]
TORI JENSEN, RN: OK. Well Kaiser doesn't believe in religious freedom because they are not accepting my religious exemption based on my sincerely held religious beliefs. So.
RECORDED VOICE: Going up.
TORI JENSEN, RN[exiting elevator]: That's a problem.
WOMAN'S VOICE FROM HALLWAY: Love you.
TORI JENSEN, RN: Love you.
[to camera, as walking down hall of hospital]: All day I've been asking for someone from HR to come talk to me about why my religious exemption was not good enough for Kaiser. So I've been asking and asking, and no one will give me an answer. So that was at 10:45 this morning that I was told I'm now being placed on unpaid administrative leave for no reason.
I showed up to work this morning. Happy to work. All I want to do is work. All I want to do is work. Since the beginning, I've been a covid nurse since the beginning when we didn't know what was going on. When we didn't know what kind of rooms we were walking into. But that's what we do. We're nurses. And I'll keep doing that, just somewhere else.
But I want you all to think about what matters to you. Because this matters to me. Freedom matters to me. Because it's a slippery slope when you start taking away freedoms. Slippery slope.
So Kaiser, thank you, thank you for the money. Kaiser pays well. It's pretty much, you know, the devil's in the details.
[to security officer]: I'm on the seventh floor. You good to walk the stairs?
MASKED SECURITY OFFICER: Hey. [laughs] I'm on the [inaudible].
TORI JENSEN, RN [to camera]: We're taking the stairs.
[to someone off camera]: Bye, girl.
TORI JENSEN, RN: Bye. [she hugs her]
WOMAN'S VOICE: I'm so sorry. It's not right.
TORI JENSEN, RN: It's not right.
WOMAN'S VOICE: Totally inappropriate.
TORI JENSEN, RN: It's not right. Thank you.
[walking again, speaking to camera]: We're taking the stairs. I'm on the seventh floor. You game? OK, let's go.
So since I have, since I you, um, what would you do if you were in my shoes, if they were telling you that you had to violate your sincerely held religious belief or lose your job, what would you do?
SECURITY OFFICER: I don't know. [inaudible] that so I don't know how to respond to that.
TORI JENSEN, RN: Yeah. Well they will, I mean, if it's not the vaccine it'll be something else. So for me, I didn't want to do that. And I'm taking a stand because I know that this is not the end. Because there'll just be one other thing.
Here we go. Floor one. [Climbing the stairs— reading placard] "Climbing the stairs is a free workout built right into your day. Kaiser Permanente."
The security guard's walking with me. Seven floors. I don't think they were ready for that.
[Climbing the stairs— reading placard] "Helps shrink your waistline by building healthy muscle and pumping your metabolism."
It's a sad day. I don't know what kind of pandemic it is if they're firing nurses who are willing to work. I don't know! Doesn't make sense to me.
So you got to ask yourself a question. What kind of world are we living in when we have a pandemic where my kids have to wear masks at school and they have to get a vaccine for something that they're not at risk of dying for at all? What kind of a world are we living in if they're firing nurses who don't want to violate their sincerely held religious beliefs. Right? That's crazy.
[Climbing the stairs— reading placard] "Taking the stairs burns steam and relieves stress. Kaiser Permanente"
[aims camera at view out to trees tops and sky] Hey that's the view.
[camera on masked security officer, still in his mask, then camera back on herself]: We're there. We're there, sir. Seven flights, that's right, I follow the rules. I park on top. That's the kind of nurse I am.
