UPDATE | While a central Sikh defensive team was stationed at Malton Gurdwara, smaller mobile teams & patrols kept watch at Gurdwaras near the Hindu Sabha Mandir that were on the path of the pro-India mobs marching. Peel & Toronto Police were also present to provide support.

UPDATE | Pro-India mobs threatened Peel Regional Police with hatchets & swords. They also challenged them to fight while also mocking them with lewd gestures and curses. The mob was halted by police on their way towards Sikh Gurdwaras & deemed the demonstration as unlawful.
