There are good public schools though. We legitimately know everyone. Talking maintenance, administrative, teachers and school board. I have keys to the school, it's that level. Small towns and get a network. I just signed 3 board members election shit to get on the ballot. Kids are friends.

Beating horses dead here, but I'd get out of cities and large suburbs if you can work remotely and/or commute easily. I was out hanging at a farmette until 10:30pm last night. 3 horses, 5 acres, cornfields all around. Kids are friends.

Winter sucks here, but you can make the best of it. Besides a retirement snow bird property, I'm here the rest of my life. Back to schools though, my kids do good. They're pretty smart. Savvy. Good grades as I mentioned, but they have the street smarts to make them successful.
