I graduated in 87' so I had a few college years in the 80's. Way more fun than high school.
"Women always seem to go for the “overgrown kidsâ€â€¦"
I dunno.... I think it depends on the woman. I've got plenty of friends who prefer overgrown assholes.
"I guess it beats the alternative…â€Fencepostâ€"
Huh? Er, I mean, Sphuh?
So who gets to do the much-anticipated 2000ndth post?
I guess it depends on who has the best trigger finger (heh).
Ah-ha. I don't know any meth users, so I guess this is a whole phenomenon I'm missing out on. Thankfully.
It was me! My "I do" post was 2000. See, how clever? I answered my own who gets the 2000ndth post question with the answer "I do."
Terribly, terribly clever.
A hard day's work done. Whew.
Oh darn it, other people answered before I hit reload. Well, now my last post sounds even dumber.
Ah-ha. I don’t know any meth users, so I guess this is a whole phenomenon I’m missing out on. Thankfully.
You are lucky, my brother was a meth user. It's not pretty.
"I was deeply hurt by what you said earlier, so I was just giving you a hard time. "
Deeply hurt? Like curled up on the floor of your shed weeping violently? So hurt you can barely type?
(Dumber and dumber and dumber was referring to me and my posts--not your brother SQT. I'm sorry your family had to go through that.)
Hey, let's stop and 2020 and move to our new residence.
It's a nice round number, and no one will want to disturb it.
2025, are we supposed to meet with Vulcans yet? Or will that be another century or so?
One more Huh, for old time's sake. And 2050 is a better number than 2049.
We need to go for Huh-2222. No need for a post-frenzy...just a goal to gradually work towards...with a day-by-day, baby-steps approach...to be achieved by mid-late next week.
2222 indeed is a very nice balanced number. I would set my heart on it except that it seems impossible to stop Huh from growing. Soon as we reach 2222, we'll have to aim for 2424.
I kind of like this new slow-growth policy. It's like we the Marin County of threads or something now.
And Jack, do you have OCD? Is this part of the overlapping brain phenomenon?
" I must be happy to be working again, after a long period of what I call “artistic sleepâ€."
You do indeed sound like a man on a creative adrenaline rush tonight.
I wonder if OC tendancies are part of creative personalities. One of my favorite writers, David Sedaris, writes a lot about his childhood battle with OCD. And he was seriously suffering from it. He claims it went away when he started smoking.
Go check out the second thread down. Funny potential for a smackdown at the end between me and God--er, I mean, "allah."
"I think PeterP is paying you guys to keep me back here!"
Ahem. I'm no thread whore.
HAve you been drinking coffee all day instead of eating? Are you sort of vibrating right now?
Ehhh, too bad he didn't answer. I probably shouldn't try to make him mad, but he was clearly trying to make me feel...what? Angry? Wrong? Probably the latter.
I'm eating Jelly Bellies right now. Food of the gods. But you need some real food.
"You are PeterP paid fluff bunny! "
LOL. This makes Peter P sound like some kind of wacked pimp. Pimping stuffed animals.
"Except the peanut butter ones."
Blech. Yes. Awful. And licorice. Can't eat those either. There are actually lots of flavors I don't like, but I like the uniqueness of them enough to eat them anyway. Mainly I have buttered popcorn and coconut or whatever it is in this bag.
"The GOAT CHEESE pizza is in the oven, not to worry. "
LOL. Of course. I was going to suggest pizza. Also the food of the gods.
"The popcorn ones are a little tweaked too Jamie. You are a weird one. "
It took me years to start liking them. I don't know why I kept eating them when I thought they were disgusting.
No, I don't have OCD. I just have a few minor tendancies in that direction, much more as a kid than I do now.
So do you think talking on this blog expends your creative energy and/or serves as a substitute for your painting?
