Hi Peter, dont forget to leave a little something at the bottom of the Huh? mineshaft, ok?
I did. Should we target 2600?
I’m still sick.
Hope you feel better.
I have been sick for the past few days. Feeling much better today though. Probably not the flu then.
I have given up on even numbers. It's a slippery slope. 2600, and next thing you know we have to aim for 3000. And so on. I do think it would be funny if we eulogized Huh and then just kept right on posting for another few thou. BUT the reload is already killer. Can't take the pain anymore.

To be honest, the logical target should be 10000, no?
Sorry to hear you've been sick. I noticed you weren't around much, Peter P. Hope you're back to normal soon.
10,000 is logical? How long would that re-load hell be?
Technology will get us there. In a few years, we will all have fiber-optic internet connections. Huh-10000 will be possible.
No thread bubble. Threads will grow through the end of this decade!
"I will go for 3000 all by myself peter p , I am into it! "
Jack is into it all by himself. Just him and the reload time. Sick!

Thanks Jamie.
Peter P is still back on the Social effects thread talking about lobster or something. That's pretty funny, Peter P. Glad to see you're as dedicated to the thread as I am.
Hey, Huh-10000 sounds like the name of a marketable product. Why don't we sell something with that name?
The reload time is all about masochism. And staring at the horror of one's own inadequacies.
I'm sure we could have Huh-10000 tshirts made at cafe press or something. We could confound people. Create an underground craze. Write a blockbuster book with that title. Start an investing craze.
Watch Peter P will eventually just vanish with no explanation. I like how he appears and disappears like that. Like a magic trick, well except that I hate magic tricks, so maybe not like that.
Yeah, I saw that thing about the google quote. Wow, you went to page ten of the search listings to find that. That's dedication to Huh.
My dumb words recorded for posterity and strange people doing google searches of the word "huh." Now that's something to be proud of.
I used to get some really funny search words from people who stumbled upon my website, but last time I checked nothing strange. Sorry, I should explain, there is this website management thingy I can check to see what search terms people used to get to my website.
So how is the writing going SQT?
(see how Peter P vanished...or is he LURKING?)
The "HUH" ticker symbol is not taken yet. Let's market something and go IPO.
HUH vs. GOOG
Hmmmm, what can we market? Hmmmm? Banality and self-obsession? Is that selling?
Hey, 2 pages is excellent when you're sick. You're a masochist too aren't you? Go get some rest! You just made your graceful transition.
Get well, SQT. Good night, and thanks for the good trip wishes. I'll think of you when I"m slogging around the San Diego zoo with a two year old crying "No, I want to see the monkeys! No elephants! Monkeys! Monkeys!"
That's the plan, but early would be 7-ish. And since my daughter is a 6AM girl lately, that could actually happen for once.
Probably. I also haven't packed yet, or printed directions, or figured out where the hotel is... Such a good planner I am.
Oh well head south on 15 and I'm bound to run into San Diego eventually.
I don't mind packing. I just throw a bunch of stuff in a bag. Then I get where I'm going and remember everything I forgot to pack. Heh.

I suspect the Fed is behind much of the stories about reconsidering mortgage interest deduction. (If they were really serious about it, they would stop deductions on interest for second (and third…) homes. I think this is basically a made up story, trying to inject a little caution into potential homebuyers who have trouble reading the writing on the wall.
