This is the famous Elrod House designed by John Lautner for the famed interior designer, Arthur Elrod. It was used as a backdrop for the James Bond film, 'Diamonds Are Forever'. I have recently heard that this property is in foreclosure. Does anyone have any info on it? I know it was purchased for $5.5 Million in '03 but I can't seem to find out any info to verify the 'foreclosure' rumor. No NOD's show up on any site that I can find. Very curious about the status of this house.
