The buyer must have spotted an original Matisse on the wall and said "I'll pay $538K but everything stays... everything".
Nothing else can possibly explain it

The insanity continues. This home was listed for $449k. It went pending for $538k. This deal would likely close because the buyers have money. Similar homes in this neighborhood were selling for around $450k in early and summer of 2009.
