I understand, it’s very difficult to compare “apple to apple”, however many communities with similar size and same amenities have sharply different HOA fees. Your experience?

I'm eager to hear some responses!

My HOA dues are ~320 per month. The Community has pools, spas, a nice gym, a few buildings for gatherings, gates & guards, & very well maintained shallow ponds with fountains and such in the midst of many (not all) of the units. Tennis courts. Covered parking + guest spots.

My HOA is $290/month.

I don't have a HOA, but it's my understanding that they are about as mismanaged and corrupt as your typical major city.
