Democracy has degenerated into Pandocracy. Pandocracy is a system of government whereby the candidate (often the least capable to lead) panders for votes from those who are least likely to support themselves or succeed. In return, the panderees are rewarded with goods, services, housing, food, health care, etc., paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers. I narrowed it to 500 px. Maybe that should be the max by default?

Can't help but agree, to some degree.

However, I think your comment is slightly off base, Honest Abe (I'm sure it was an honest mistake).

In our democracy, the large corporations with deep pockets are indeed pandered to by politicians, and they do indeed get their needs met. Their needs do NOT, however, include any of the following:
"goods, services, housing, food, health care"

perhaps services is not so far off - the government builds roads and provides police & firefighters ....to companies (and people).

Their needs (which you should have listed above) are:
Deregulation
Limits on liability for things like, say, pollution that causes disease in children
Bail-outs
Tax-breaks - if you don't pay your fair share then you make more money!
etc.... I'm sure we can all think of a few things to add to this list. Big corps aren't getting food from the government, though, that's for sure!

I also agree with the last part about the diminishing number of producers. Companies ship jobs oversees, leaving averge joes without work. Higher unemployment does seem to lead to fewer producers, right?

Who is at fault for this pandering? Is it the corporate-loving-politicians (all parties have them), or the conservative nazi-communist liberals? I'm undecided.
