Here me out! I think this plan makes a big dent in our Social Security problem.

Example 1: Bob is a 65 year old American who never saved his money. He is now living entirely on Social Security, which we all know is next to nothing. By agreeing to the kevorkian plan, Bob gets 50% of his Social Secutity money had he lived to the age of 77 (average American lifespan). Now Bob can use that money to make a bucket list, enjoying the world like he never has before. When he runs out of money, he can then request to be put to sleep. If not, he gets no more money from the government, no handouts, nothing.

Example 2: Cindy is a 70 year old with tons of medical issues. She's always in pain, all the time. She has no money so her kids are giving her money. With the Kevorkian plan, she can get 50% of her SS money to give to her kids, and then be put to sleep.

Example 3: Greg is 80 years old. The Kevorkian plan just puts him to sleep, he doesn't get any more money because he has lived longer than the average American.

Example 4: Marcie is 57 years old. She is too young to take Social Security, so she is not elgible for the Kevorkian plan.

So in short: Anyone who wants to be put to sleep can be provided they can take Social Security. Anyone younger than the average lifespan gets a cash bonus for doing so to give to their kids or use on themselves. Hooray!

Can you buy time, (or steal time for that matter) from other that don't want or need it anymore? What about suicide cases, who gets their time?
How will the death panels carry out the deed. What if the guy changes his mind, will they send Arnold Swartzenager to terminate them against their will. What if you're in the mall and some 72 year old geezer falls to the floor, crying... "I'm not ready! I'm not ready! I wanna live!" (Bang Bang Bang), "Your contract is terminated, have a nice day....)

No.

There are no death panels. It's purely choice. If you change your mind you don't have to die, but you are cut off from all future financial support from the government by collecting the money.
