A real estate agent in West York, Pa., was kidnapped by a man who threatened her with a steak knife and robbed her following a showing of a home for-sale, police say.
The man contacted Sharron Minnich with Prudential Bob Yost REALTORS® about wanting to view a home for-sale in the area. Minnich said that she met the man at the home, and that the home owner was also present during the showing.
But as Minnich returned to her car after the showing, the man entered the passenger side of her car.
“I said get out of my car, and he said ‘no I need you to take me somewhere and I have a knife,’†Minnich told CBS-21 in an exclusive interview about the incident. “And then he showed me the knife, and I got scared.â€
The man revealed a steak knife and demanded money. Minnich did not have any money on her so he ordered her to drive to an ATM and take out $20. The man then asked to be dropped off.
Minnich then contacted police.

Th suspect, Gregory Knaub, faces several charges, including kidnapping and robbery.
“Broad daylight in West York Borough I never expected it,†Minnich told CBS-21, who says she knows the dangers of the job but she had always felt safe before.
