It is still $1.99 in California, and $2.99 in AZ, just like it has been for a decade, dumbross!!!
For a guy who is supposedly swimming in dough with all his investments, you sure spend a lot of time buying cheap $2 wine.
So it's back to $2 now. That was quick.
So it's back to $2 now. That was quick.
No, it's still called $2-buck-chuck, but it's not $2 any more. That's why I said $2 wine. But, nice try, anyway.

It isn't $2 anymore? I'm pretty sure I've seen it for $1.99...
It is still $1.99 in California
It's not even $2 in California any more. What a total, complete fool you are filthy house peddler from Phoenix. You can't even argue on your own turf. Ha, ha, ha!

Wow, absolutely ridiculous. You pull someone up in post after post about the price of a cheap bottle of wine that has just within a matter of weeks been raised in price to the staggering amount of $2.49. What exactly are you doing? It's just idiotic, much like your home comment. I remember Darrell in Phoenix saying the same thing. Says it all really.
It isn't $2 anymore? I'm pretty sure I've seen it for $1.99...
Listen some more to your friend - the Bernanke-c**k-sucker, and you will believe in even more things.

I didn't bring up the cheap wine. It's your friend, the millionaire c**k-sucker who brought it up.
I didn't bring up the cheap wine. It's your friend, the millionaire c**k-sucker who brought it up. And, if you recall, he tried to let everyone know that I was wrong again, even about this. Let this be on the record, that, I was right, as always, the c**k-sucker was the one who called me a liar for no reason at all, when he was the one, who was wrong.

Er, he's not my friend. And you are the one who spent an inordinate amount of time going on about his figures being wrong because, finally, you found out that, shock-horror, the price was raised to $2.49 a little over a month ago. Does this triumph make you feel better about yourself?

I was at my HOME in Monterey in January. It was $1.99. But thank you for finally finding out that it has gone up by 50c in the last 6 weeks so that you can shout about how right you are and how wrong Roberto is. Very grown up.
you found out that, shock-horror, the price was raised to $2.49 a little over a month ago.
You missed the point, entirely. Now, you're trying to protect your friend, by attacking me. The idiot peddler from Phoenix tried to dishonor my good reputation on this blog, by attacking me about some cheap $2 wine, and then, both of you tried to attack me. I quietly retorted and proved both of you completely wrong, although it was your friend, the moron beastiologist from the desert, who accused me of being wrong about some stupid wine which he loves to drink so much.

Good grief. You went to Wiki and it didn't prove your point. You then got lucky and found out that they had very recently raised the price by 50c, 50c in a decade. Well done. Congratulations! Should we throw a party?
Do you understand how childish you sound with these posts? Mind, your 'tried to dishonor my good reputation by attacking me about some cheap $2 wine' comment made me laugh. Presumably calling someone a 'beastiologist' is perfectly fine though.
But thank you for finally finding out that it has gone up by 50c in the last 6 weeks
I see, now. You're a fan of the Math professor, because, compared to you, his knowledge of math seems gargantuous. Do you realize that 50c increase on $2 is a 25% increase. That's even more than the price increase of a rotten middle-of-a-desert chicken coup, according to your friend the math-mizering, dog-sniffing c**k-sucker.
You went to Wiki and it didn't prove your point
Why didn't Wiki prove my point. Wiki said that price went up from $2 to $3.79 in all states, except California. That's not a proof enough for you. Oh, sorry, I forgot that you never graduated from 3rd grade in Math.

How long has the wine been on the market? How much has it gone up in that period? Raising the price by 50c doesn't necessarily mean that costs have suddenly shot up, does it? And like I said, try acting like an adult because your whiny little attacks make you sound very immature indeed.
And like I said, try acting like an adult because your whiny little attacks make you sound very immature indeed.
Hey, what's going on here? You accuse me of spending too much time talking about the stupid wine, and you, yourself, can't stop foaming at your mouth, talking about it, now can you? Tell me the truth - is the math-mizer sucking your c**k now, too?
"Prices in states other than California have been increased to as high as $3.79 per bottle."
You stated, and I quote "Prices in states other than California have been increased to as high as $3.79 per bottle." That doesn't mean that the prices in CA couldn't still have been $1.99 and $2.99 where Roberto lives. But no, no, you were right. Prices went up 50c six weeks ago, so you can celebrate how right you were and how wrong we were. Well done. Mind, I'm pretty sure Trader Joe's has special offers. When they do, does that mean I'll be right again? Oh, how exciting.
And like I said, try acting like an adult because your whiny little attacks make you sound very immature indeed.

Well, someone posts and someone responds. That's generally how a forum works. Your post just struck me as a very strange basis for trying to attack your online foe. I'm just wondering why you are doing it and what you are trying to prove because I really don't see your goal. Much like your home comment.
He is Mr. Logarithm,
He is Mr. sin,
He is Mr. Pythogarean Theorem,
He is Mr. 2-buck-wine!
Everything that he touch, turns to lies in his clutch!
He is too, he is too, he is too much!

Do you not think you are taking your Roberto fixation a little too far?
Do you not think you are taking your Roberto fixation a little too far?
No, sir, you seem to be the one who is fixated on Roberto. In fact, you got so hung up on attacking me on this, that you, yourself, forgot that it was Roberto who accused me of lying about the wine.
That doesn't mean that the prices in CA couldn't still have been $1.99 and $2.99 where Roberto lives.
The Math-mizer doesn't live in CA. He can't afford to live here.

Eh? The posts are right above. You said the wine had gone up in price to $3.99 in 3 years + naturally, added an insult. No they hadn't. Roberto pulled you up on that, giving figures that were correct until 6 weeks ago. He didn't accuse you of lying. He pointed out that your figures were inaccurate. Who, exactly, was more off base with their figures?

That post may have a point, but you'll have to explain it to me.
I'm just wondering why you are doing it and what you are trying to prove because I really don't see your goal.
My goal is to help the readers of patrick.net to find the light in this big ponzi scheme we call the housing market, which, should have been called the debt-servitude market.
People like roberto, and the likes of him, have been doing all of us a huge disservice, prostituting their wares, enriching themselves, at the cost of driving everyone else into debt slavery. The damaged caused by assholes like roberto, will be felt by many generations to come. People like him should be hung up by their balls in the middle of village square, not defended by clueless victims, such as yourself.
He didn't accuse you of lying. He pointed out that your figures were inaccurate.
Oh, I guess calling me wrong this time, just like I was wrong at predicting the direction of the house market, doesn't sound like calling me a liar, ha.

You said the wine was $3.99. He said it was $1.99/2.99. He said you were wrong. You were as were we. He didn't say you were lying. There's a difference.

That really is a lot of overblown nonsense. Just laughable.
You had to be wrong even about that! Gotta hand it to you, if you say something it just has to be wrong!!!
Here is the 1st quote from roberto. And you still have the balls to defend him?

What hole have you climbed out of? Where have you been for the last 6 years - Mars or Jupiter?

Ha. And here comes Superanti-realtorman Dunnross to protect us all from the terrible impact of Roberto buying a handful of cheap houses in Phoenix. You do understand that Roberto was also a RE bear until a relatively short time ago, as was everyone else on here.
That really is a lot of overblown nonsense. Just laughable.
Do you realize that if we didn't have so many c**k suckers like you who are willing to throw their life's savings into a 2-bit shack in the middle of an arid dried up postage stamp, house prices would have been much much lower now, and wouldn't have 3 generations of people living in ponzi scheme servitude.
Roberto was also a RE bear until a relatively short time ago, as was everyone else on here.
Unlike me, who actually prooved that I sold my house back in 2006, by showing all of you my post directly from 2006, Roberto never showed us any proof of that. Now, it's easy for him to brag about it, but, in reality, that's a total lie, like everything else about him is.
Homes all over the US were available at prices much lower than rent,
This just proves that you've never even stepped foot in California, because, if you had, you wouldn't be spewing such nonsense out of the side of your mouth. Or, is it some other crack, you've been spewing out of? Prices nowhere within 30 miles off the coast have ever been below rent since 1995.
I was in Orange County last week, and picked up a case of 2 buck chuck at tader joes, since it was $1.99 a bottle
Hmm. Interesting how you did that, if prices had already gone up to $2.49 in January.
I'm drinking one right this second, dipstick...
Yep, I can definitely tell you have been.
That really is a lot of overblown nonsense. Just laughable.

You really are charming. So I'm a c*cksucker because I bought a house? If you want to spend your life renting or whatever it is you are actually doing, then fine, but quit insulting people who actually bought because it's a bloody ridiculous comment to make. And didn't you just say you sold to someone in 2006? Presumably that means you royally screwed them over back then, so get off your high horse.
And last time I checked, Monterey isn't that arid. In fact, I have quite a few very nice oak and pine trees on my property.
And the simple truth of the matter is that house prices in the US as a whole are not expensive. Parts of CA certainly are, but you appear to talk for the country as a whole.

Shops have this thing called offers.
So I'm a c*cksucker because I bought a house?
Exactly. You bought, because, you are impatient. You couldn't wait for prices to drop, and had to ruin it for the rest of us and jump right in and buy, driving up prices for everyone else. You and the likes of you are responsible for the fact that many generations of californians will not be able to afford to buy their own house without mortgaging their life. You don't even care about your own kids, who will be straddled with college payments, and will not be able to afford to buy. Of course, you couldn't do such a stupid thing all by yourself. You needed to be given the old nudge by the likes of roberto the housing prostitute, and now, you're shaking in your boots, trying to prop up this nonsense of a ponzi scheme, trying to justify these extortionist prices, and your way of life of throwing 40-50% of your take-home pay on mortgage. Nice Job, Bigsby! Now I see why you're foaming at your mouth trying to defend your criminal friend.
Presumably that means you royally screwed them over back then, so get off your high horse.
Nope, that house is worth as much now as it was back in 2006 when I sold it. This is the complete nonsense which is going on in this stinking state of ours. It's like people haven't learned anything since the crises. The banks are all insolvent, real unemployment rate is close to 25%, and people are busy bidding up houses, like it was deja-vu 2006, all over again. What amazing short-memory sheep live in this californicationary golden-brown-nose state of ours.

Now that super low interest rates are baked into payments, the top is forming in pricing. I know that one month does not make a trend, but one would expect stronger sales with prices increases that we had and we did not get it.
