How come when I put 5 links in a post, I get an error message saying "You are not allowed to put more than 10 links in a post"?

Patrick explained this previously - I'd find a link for you but you'd ignore it, which is why you persist in ignorance. The reason is because spammers tend to post a lot of links. If you want to post 10 links, you can post two comments with five links each.
